No, a full on charged kiss on the lips isn't "platonic", I just mean when you have a friend of the opposite sex (or the same sex if you two are homosexual), there's usually some period in the friendship (early or eventual) where you dance with the romantic prospect. Of course they did this dance, what, two years ago now before it was dropped but this might be their moment to finally go there and "get it out of the way" so to speak or find that there's really something there. I do think it was a needy kiss on both ends, though Matthew still has the upper hand here. I understand what you're saying though, it's like a far less dramatic version of Dimitri and Maria kissing and screwing out of pain and grief for their own predicaments and seeing a like soul in distress and need of comfort. "Make me feel gooood!" I still don't like them as a couple but love them as best friends.

Cracking up at some of the comments over on YouTube. A young, enthusiastic bunch. Fun. But there are guesses that Tomas is Todd's brother, Todd as in TSJ being faux Todd/Walker. I was wondering something, and someone kind of confirmed my hunch with a good catch: the SN of the person cyber bullying Shane is "WhoDaMann" as in Manning as in SORAS'd Jack. If that's true that's weird and kinda effed up how Jack's suddenly older than Shane (nothing new for OLTL) and making his life a living hell.

I would crack up if they opened tomorrow with Des and Matt all up in the afterglow, having fucked in his room while Bo and Nora were at work.

Because that happens with kids that age all the time today. Just be candid and matter of fact; maybe they do it because they're lonely and upset with their lives, maybe it was rash, maybe she still wants Darren back, but this is still good drama. Not every teenage couple has a candlelit cherry-poppin' gala. But because they're not as old as Lenny Platt and Des is black, the show would never dare. And yet the shitty American ripoff of Skins remains the talk of the town just for broaching the issue. You know when they'll [!@#$%^&*] under a Brian Frons regime? When Matthew is recast and Destiny is played by a 22-year-old light-skinned girl who is thin but wearing baggy clothes.

That WOULD be hilarious and awful and altogether great television.

I dunno Monty, I *guess* it was sweet but I'm a little leery and feeling protective of Destiny's feelings. You know if Dani dumped Nate and shook her hot little tail (I don't care what she SAYS to Nate, it was all in her eyes, that girl is trying to get slayed) in Matt's face again you best believe he wouldn't turn it down a second time. I feel like Destiny's going to get her feelings hurt. And oy, if Matt takes Destiny's V and not Darren, that should be some good little drama, kind of reminds me of Reggie/Dani/Josh, although Matt is of course Destiny's first (unrequited) love. At any rate, I look forward to the inevitable fight scene btw Matt and Darren. Then maybe their grown ass big brothers who evidently have nothing better to do can meet at the diner and try to sort things out.

Ha, of course they didn't pick right back up with Destiny and Matt.

OLTL's two prettiest girls are living in Paris.

Dorian cracks me up, RS is still in the business of making such wonderful little detailed choices.

I liked the look of all of them at dinner, it was a sleek, visually pleasing scene.

Shane's voice!

Are we going to start EVERY Aubrey/Cutter scene post cimax?

This Todd thing is making me queasy.

LMAO, Kim Zimmer in a scene with JPL and FF, I wonder if she thought she was being PUNK'D

Ugh, I hate that I think Kelly and Cutter have chem because I am so over the good girl falling for the bad boy retread

I did think Dorian and Joey had a spark, however I'm good on seeing them again. It'd be nice if they'd bring on a love interest for Dorian not named David though.

As for Joey, he went right back to being dumb, I get that he has to be a little clueless for this story to work, but COME ON!

I'm over the constant humpfests between Cutter and Aubrey, they're just skanky. Not fun, not entertaining.

Another day of Tea/Todd/Blair/Tomas dullness. Listen, I will sit through all of these history lessons if it means Rogert Howarth is returning, however if it doesn't mean he's coming back, please stop now. I enjoyed Ted King on GH, however he is coming off as a cliched bore thus far.

Any scene between Zimmer, Slezak and Strasser is great! : )

I think the only way I'll care about this after school special with Shane is if the bullying leads to him shooting all of the Fords and their annoying nitwit girlfriends (Starr, Dani, and Langston)

    • In my usual account on my most used video hosting site with the video title  DAYS 1-8-15 Will & Paul Sex This is an edit I began when I was first teaching myself to edit & at that time I couldn't make it do what I wanted it to do. I pulled it up & finished it this morning.
    • Or Megan is shot as retaliation for Dave's unpaid gambling debts...while Julie confesses she's the biological mother of Special Guest Star Barry Bostwick's little boy.
    • Finland seemed such an odd choice for a location shoot. ATWT went to Greece and later Spain while GL had Tenerife and there were others in that timeframe. But Finland not being a known tourist destination or offering the tropical/sunny atmosphere usually associated with location shoots seems off brand. Maybe they were negotiating a deal with a tourist association and it fell through.
    • I was talking about 1986, but the glimpses of 1982 are about the same.
    • I skimmed some of the 1982 synopses; Steve was planning on an opening an office in Finland, and I think Jim went there as part of the preparation. That probably was a big issue; AW had already gone to San Diego that year, with Rachel/Steve/Mitch. And to upstate NY with Pete and Diana. I wonder if upstate was as expensive lol  AW in 1982 has always fascinated me, because of how messy it was
    • That makes sense. What a messy time for the show. And any changes they made were mostly for the worse.
    • The transition from Neal to Adam was very abrupt, and to be honest my theory is that the character of Neal was designed so that we think he is super shady but then it turns out that he was on the side of good all along so Neal could have seamlessly become a hero of the BCPD with no need for Adam. I don't know whether Robert Lupone was hired on a short contract or if he was fired from a longer-term contract because they decided they wanted someone who was more of a leading man type, but I can imagine a scenario where Charles Grant did both the undercover Egyptian treasure/flirt with Victoria and the straighter-arrow day to day police investigation. But in my imagined scenario the MJ prostitution plotline probably doesn't exist and instead he probably continues a relationship with Victoria. The story seems very odd to me. I assume that David Canary would have been included only because a plotline where Steve is going to Finland in which only Rachel is seen in actual Finland seems unlikely. The synopses explicitly mention that Alice can't go with Steve but would whoever was playing Alice at that time have had the kind of clout to get the remote cancelled? It also strikes me as unlikely that production would have approved the expensive location shoot and *then* cancelled it only because of jealousy. It seems more likely that they rejected it because of the expense but then the jealousy part got added to the gossip speculatively, possibly because while it was being worked out they justified not including more castmembers because of the expense.
    • My comment has nothing to do with cast resentment, but does relate to the Finland location shoot: It may be a coincidence, but Jim Matthews died in Finland in 1982.  Hugh Marlowe's final episode was in April 1982, but the character probably didn't die untll May or June. (I'm unable to find the character's date of death, only the date of Marlowe's final episode). SInce Jim and Rachel had very little interaction after around 1975, it is unlikely Jim's death in Finland had any connection to Rachel's potential visit, but the choice to have Jim die in that location at that time is a head-scratcher.  I'm sure the writers sent Jim on an extended trip (and off-screen) because of Marlowe's illness.  But Finland seems like a strange choice considering the (then) recently cancelled location shoot.
    • I totally understand your sloths concern about it and I agree with you. Let’s hope the show plays it’s cards right.    Further comments about the last few episodes: - I liked that one of the attendees was filming the scene. That’s realistic. I wonder if the writers will follow up with that.  - Martin and Smitty trying to drag Leslie out was very heteronormative, so perfectly in line with them two as characters lol.    As for the future: it’s obvious the Duprees will come to accept Eva one way or another, but the rivalry with Kay should be here for the long term   On the topic of acting: the only bad actors I’m seeing are Ted and Derek. Tomas hasn’t proven to be either good or bad, so far, but he’s certainly mediocre and uncharismatic. He sucks the energy out of the scenes and I don’t see any couple of women ever vying for him.
