Members SFK
Emphasis on squish. SuLuHu, her name is just perfect for that kinda stuff. Adam, it is pretty remarkable. She has earned the right to bare arms. It would be one thing if she looked desperate and vulgar, but she has kept herself in great shape and can get away with a lot clothing-wise for her age. BTW, that set is huge. (I know I know, "Only the best for Mrs. Moonves.")
Members DaytimeFan
I don't care if it's a whole artifice, a whole lie...Susan Lucci GLOWS from within. She exudes warmth and happiness and security and class. She and Jaclyn Smith operate from the same playbook. Just. Marvellous.

Members Kylie
I'm going to her book signing next month. I may not survive, but at least I'll go happy. LOL
Members Jonathan
Interesting NY times article here. She says her contract is up in about a year. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/20/nyregion/0320artsli.html?_r=
Members Kylie
I absolutely think she's done in a year. Whether I believe J&E will ride off into the sunset...I'm less convinced about. If I survive even getting walking up to get my book signed, I'll try to ask her. LOL
Members Lust4Life76
I am sure there will be something about the years of being nominated for "that Emmy"...does anybody remember the sugar commercial she did to poke fun and not winning after the first eleven, twelve nominations? I hope she mentions Erika Slezak. It seems the two would be great friends, and if I recall Slezak's first or second time of winning she did mention that she had utmost respect for Susan's work and years later Susan said in a cute Emmy moment that she voted for Slezak every year. ALSO, okay I give up...I hear this story so many times...but I have never heard the actual story. What was the deal with La Lucci and La Gellar? Members Khan
This is what I heard: one of AMC's directors at the time (don't know which) instructed Sarah Michelle Gellar to do something in a scene (at taping) between her and Susan Lucci that 1) was not in the original script, and 2) was not part of any previous run-throughs or rehearsals. Because SL was not made aware of this change(s) to the scene, she considered it an attempt on SMG's part to upstage her. The relationship between the two actresses went downhill from there. Members Y&RWorldTurner
And yet sadly, acting against Gellar was probably the last time Lucci stepped up her acting consistently, IMO.
Members Khan
It'd be...well, maybe not nice...but it would be something if she were candid about her working relationship with SMG in her new book. Alas, if she talks about that situation at all, it'll probably be to debunk the "rumors" and reveal that, in fact, when the news that AMC would be relocating hit, SMG was among the first to call her. Members R Sinclair
Oh. That old daytime showbiz tale? Susan Lucci vs. Sarah Michelle Gellar Thorsten Kaye vs. James Scott (TK queens out and wants JS fired after getting shoved too hard ) Victoria Rowell vs. Michelle Stafford (the spit take) I am so bored by the "Diva was caught off guard" feuds, it's ridiculous. I mean, if that's the true source of drama for the SL/SMG feud, then that's pathetic. I'd rather stick with the whole "Heathers" story. At least it's more entertaining. Members Lust4Life76
Ok, how did "Heathers" figure into it? I am just curious, I want more details on this one. E
Members Khan
I'm not saying it was, mind you. I'm only reporting what I heard and I could have heard wrong.
Members Pine Charles
I guess SMG, Kelly Ripa, Sydney Penny, and Eva LaRue formed a clique.... and SuLu felt left out or something.
