November 23, 201015 yr Member It was a good show up until the Billy and Chloe encounter. How can a conversation between Billy and Chloe, about Billy's family, Chance's death, a gathering at the Chancellor home, and Delia's relatives fail to mention Jill once? It's a little far-fetched to believe that Jills son has completely forgotten about his mother, where she lives, and that she's Delia and Chance's grandmother. And the writers have missed the connection once again? Billy hates Jill, so be grateful he doesn't mention her.
November 23, 201015 yr Member The actress playing or who played Skye was one of the only people on this show who didn't phone it in and gave it her all in every scene...This is stupid. Why does this show have to continuosly kill people.
November 23, 201015 yr Member Julia is pretty & has potential but SO miscast as a corporate executive. She doesn't have the gravitas for it. She should be doing something like fashion design. Darius is just terrible & Maria/Hamner/Rauch know it. I could see her as Abby's agent/manager.

November 23, 201015 yr Member I haven't seen this week's eps yet, but is Laura Stone REALLY gone or did Skye just "vanish"? If so, what a HUGE waste. I'm loving her character and she's one of the few people who can go toe to toe with Victor & actually come out ahead. I would have LOVED to see her paired up with MW's Diane to wreak some real damage on this town.
November 24, 201015 yr Member Neil's gravy brings all the girls to the yard! And they're, like, 'It's better than yours.' Love how everybody gets dramatic scenes today -- and Neil, Malcolm and Sophia are reduced to discussing turkey sauce. That the best you can do, Maria? It reminds me of, frankly, the most toe-curlingly embarrassing scene that Kristoff ever had to perform, after Dru fell off the CGI cliff. Neil broke down over a salad which had "Dru's special dressing" on it. KSJ looked like he wanted to die. Christel actually giggled as she pretended to squeeze out a few tears. Lily in her 1950s apron and dress -- dear lord. She's not even trying to be ironic, is she? Darius is just... woah, so bad. Please stop talking! Peter Leyden makes me LOL everytime he shows up. Kevin. Why are you still here? Please, MAB, don't give him a love interest! I like traditional Thanksgiving episodes on Y&R, but sometimes the show pontificates and it comes across as up its own ass.
November 24, 201015 yr Member WOW, I thought Paul Leyden wasn't half bad but watching CANE and BLAKE (how more contrieved can the clichéd names get???) in one scene is as vivid as observing trees. Edited November 24, 201015 yr by sheilaforever
November 24, 201015 yr Member Nobody cares about Chloe/Ronan/Heather Maria! Te f*cked up acting/bad clothing & hair/WTF - why is Jeff Branson still here!? police sure does!
November 24, 201015 yr Member WOW, I thought Paul Leyden wasn't half bad but watching CANE and BLAKE (how more contrieved can the clichéd names get???) in one scene is as vivid as observing trees. Oh, Paul Leyden is no Laurence Olivier. But I get a kick out of his shmoozing and smirking at Cane's obvious discomfort. It's funny watching Mr. Saccharine being squeezed by the Cattle Mafia (evil as that sounds). But yeah. They are channelling emotion in a typically understated, Aussie way. Mate.

November 25, 201015 yr Member The show was on a watchable roll for a while, but now is back in the toilet. I miss Meggie (what a rushed story!) and Cricket. Christine and Nina need to be major stars for this show. The female side of things needs a shake up and those two integrated (plus this successful Diane recast) would be a good way to do it. They absolutely killed it during the summer. And what happened to Lauren and Jill? Geez! Maybe I'm missing big chunks of episodes when I start doing the crack. Either that or that story was dropped. But honestly I can't say anything right now interests me. Certainly not Eden Riegel's Heather who seems to get more annoying everytime I see her. Why couldn't they have recast with the actress who plays Skye or keep the fab Vail Bloom?
