Long time lurker, first time poster! I recently had a bunch of old VHS tapes converted and now have some Y&R eps that I don’t believe are in The Vault.
Only thing is they’re super large size (3 GB) and need editing as they combine a bunch of recordings. If anyone is interested, happy to share a link to the large files for editing. It’s a veritable delight for Sheila fans! Full eps are:

* Oct 1992: Lauren and Scott’s wedding (the ep before the one in The Vault)
* Nov 1992: first ep where Sheila returns / flies to Michigan to reveal herself to Molly (includes extended B&B flashback to catch viewers up)

* Feb 1995: Sheila resurfaces after a long time / learns from Eric that Lauren is coming to LA so flies to GC to confront her. Also includes Phyllis flashing back to altering rental records for the car she used to run down Cricket and Paul

* April 1995: Sasha spies on Cricket and Danny in NYC / James Warwick calls Lauren from LA, where Sheila is holding him in the dungeon

Partial eps:

* Nov 1992: Molly tells Lauren and Scott about her calls from “Sarah Jane” / Sheila calls Molly from LA

* June 1995: Lauren returns from LA and recounts Sheila’s goodbye party for Brad

Let me know if you’re interested!

How awesome! Definitely interested. If you post or DM me the large files, I'm happy to do the editing. Even if the stuff is in the vault already it's always good for people to share because things could be in better quality or more complete. But even better that you have brand new stuff

Yes, I can confirm you literally told me the other day you wished someone would upload those Feb 95 eps. That's crazy

Im currently watching the 1986 episodes in German coz I really love Brenda Dickson! She is my Jill. I love Jess but Brenda is amazing and I don’t get the hate she gets sometimes.

Yes she was campy but that made it worth to watch it. The whole Who shot Jill story is amazing soap opera stuff.

I think that Michael (Jill‘s lover and lawyer) had such natural chemistry with anyone he interacted with especially with Jill. He is definitely my favorite men on her side.

im currently in the July 24th 1986 episodes and the summer story of the pregnant Nina/Molly. I‘m not really a big fan of Christine-Cricket during the late 80‘s and 90‘s but I don’t really mind her in this storyline. She even is quite likeable with them teens and with Danny.

But I don’t get the Danny Romalotti hype. Yeah he is likeable and I get why women would find him attractive but character wise he is so bland. No offense to his fans.

Colby Chester who played was Michael Crawford was a contract player at Universal along with Jess Walton in the 70's and they appeared in several TV projects together. Back then he had a pornstache and Jess's voice wasn't as gravelly. They were reconnected when Jess took over the role of Jill.

I remember her.  She did a fine job.  I was a little kid, but to me it was more of a "salacious" storyline than a thoughtful one.  Greg's girlfriend is a hooker!!  Will Snapper tell him?!  Will Greg HATE Snapper when he learns the truth?!  What about Gwen -- will she continue as a hooker, or will The Love Of a Good Man change her forever?!  (Neither one, of course.  She joined a convent.)

Got another sad news from the Bahamian community (not a celebrity)  https://www.instagram.com/p/DJMSrYCgyes/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== Former Bahamian Senate President J Henry Bostwick, Husband of former 1st Bahamian Female Cabinet Minister Dame Janet Bostwick is dead yesterday on his 86th birthday.    Thanks and for those who've aren't familiar with the talk shows in The Bahamas on this thread here, his talk show named The Freedom March with Dr Rodney Moncur that airs on ILTV and The Beat 103.5 FM Nassau every weekday afternoons. IIRC, he suffered a illness before he died.  Here's the link for his final taping of the show before his death: https://ewnews.com/this-is-powerful-rodney-moncurs-final-sign-off/

    • One thing I thought about is if Hayley will have a reaction to Bill threatening to kidnap and sell a baby. That's another level of viciousness and with her just having thought she was pregnant it might make her feel some type of way.
    • You're welcome. Fall 1982-Spring 1985 was the peak of primetime soaps. What a time to have been alive.
    • 1990/91 Cheers, Roseanne, A Different World, The Cosby Show, Empty Nest, The Golden Girls were still Top 10 shows, and Murphy Brown and Designing Women became Top 10 shows. It was the following season that I think was the transition season for sitcoms.
    • @xtr I loved Martin in Thursday's episode, he was almost a different character. I thought he was flirty, funny, carefree, and giggly. Glad I have someone to share my top 2 women(Nicole and Eva) with, I agree Nicole is the heart of the Dupree family, and also the heart of the show IMO. We rode into the show on the passenger side of her car, lol. What I am enjoying the most about the show, is that they did such a great job character building, because all I care about is the CHARACTER journey. Nicole, Eva, Leslie, Dani, Chelsea, etc. very invested in what's coming next. I even feel that way about Mona, Shanice, and Doug.
    • I know we have discussed the fact that Another World seemed to be planning a location shoot in Finland that got cancelled. I came across this item from the syndicated Soapbox column published June 14, 1982. "Soap operas have been experimenting extensively with on-location shooting in recent years to enhance storylines and increase their viewing audience. A major drawback is the added production costs involved. Another World, for example, cancelled a special trip for Victoria Wyndham (Rachel Cory on the show), who was scheduled to shoot scenes in Finland. The producers felt that the high price tag, along with resentment of the cast members who also wanted to travel but were to be left behind. was enough to scrap the whole project."
    • A few more thoughts about these last two episodes. I thought it was interesting how much disdain both Dani/Anita have for Eva. I thought it was amusing how Dani was calling her lying/conniving and how Anita pointed as if to say, "that part". They definitely are not here for her, and I could see them having harsh confrontations with her in addition to Leslie. I'm curious to see Kat's interaction with Eva on Monday's episode. I think it might be interesting if Kat (along with possibly Naomi/Chelsea) come around to Eva before Dani/Anita do. Of course, Kat will be understandably angry at her. But maybe a tiny part of her might feel sorry for her if she really does believe that she's Ted's daughter as well and that Leslie lied to her. I could see Kat confronting Eva again and warning her not to harm her family anymore. But I could also possibly see Kat admitting that what Ted/Leslie did regarding her was messed up as well. And maybe that will pave the way down the line for them to get along better. I also agree with the comments/speculation made in the threat that Nicole will eventually accept/probably love her someday as well. I still wouldn't mind if somehow Nicole ended up being her biological mother. They have both been acting like they care for each other in this storyline. Nicole somehow ending up being her mother would be soapy and provide some more interesting layers in this story. And regarding Andre/Dani's romance it seems like they are genuinely developing feelings for each other. I have missed episodes, so maybe more of this has been elaborated on. But it seemed like there was genuine affection between both of them when they snuck a kiss publicly in the hotel. And also, them both talking about going publicly with their relationship. I wonder what everyone's reactions will be should they be caught by someone together. Of if they flat out tell everyone about their relationship.
    • I was wondering what week it was, and it explains the low rating for Knots Landing. I was also wondering what preempted Dallas and Falcon Crest.
