I saw in my DVR that the group tries to bring Alexis and Mac together. I wasnt sure if this was a rerun of last year or a new episode...lol. Did that happen today? If so, I cant beleive they are STILL trying to make it happen considering it was last Thanksgiving they tried to push them together and a year later we have had no progress

Nathan Parsons is from Australia by way of South Africa, so yes that's his real accent. As to Ethan's speech itself, he's a very different person with Kristina Davis. Maya gets the Shuck'n'jive Ethan.

Mac/Alexis - acknowledgement on both sides that there isn't any spark, but both also advised that the "spark" is overrated and perhaps enjoying each other and looking for something else is more important. IMO, last year was so forced, but this year they actually had some chemistry there.

GH was good today! I knew I was taking a crap shoot in thinking some soap might give me some holiday cheer, but GH came through. Then again, it's much easier to enjoy something when you have next to no investment in the characters or stories.

I want Mac and Alexis together.

I want Maxie and Spinelli back together. It was outrageous the way Matt came and stole Spinelli's seat at the table.

It was also outrageous the way Lulu was rude to Siobahn.

An episode without Carly's snarling presence can be quite charming.
