October 8, 201015 yr Member Dr. Oz's wife might be getting her own show. Lisa Oz is shooting a daytime talk-show pilot with Sony Pictures Television. The show is expected to focus on solving relationship issues. Lisa Oz authored the book, "US: Transforming Ourselves and the Relationships That Matter Most." It's easy to see why Sony would be interested in expanding its Oz business. Since launching last fall, "The Dr. Oz Show" has been a ratings success, posting some of the strongest numbers for a new daytime series in seven years. "Dr. Oz" is now the third-highest-rated talk show behind those hosted by Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Phil McGraw. Lisa Oz often has co-hosted the XM radio version of "The Dr. Oz Show" with her husband and has contributed to books in the "YOU: The Owners Manual" series. Scott Stone and Corin Nelson are executive producers on the project. The pilot is expected to shoot next month. If enough stations get on board, Sony hopes to launch the show in fall 2011. HR
October 8, 201015 yr Author Member I love Dr. Oz, but one is enough. LOL. And that's a rule people just don't seem to get.
October 8, 201015 yr Member Ugh. Do us a favor Lisa and click those heels three times. Immediately reminded of Dr. Phil's wife Robin, naturally. These folks get too damn greedy. Make tri-yearly appearances on the hubby's show, write a book, work the website, but your own show is asking too much of us.
October 8, 201015 yr Administrator I like 'relationship issues' discussion. Now I have another talk show to look forward to in fall 2011.
