Re: Kendall, exactly, they made somewhat of an effort to tidy up their timeline mess.

I think CJ has the same potential and more that a hitherto unknown family relation like Powell had. I don't think he *needs* Cord nor Tina to work, but he needs the thought and the respect in the writing room that you give to a character who is the next generation of your core family. Before returning and being *completely* decimated, Powell was an interesting character who deserved the same respect as Todd of all people before we were forcefed that he was the one who would *not* be forgiven for his mistakes and would be destroyed so Todd might live more abundantly.

I think in CJ's case, he would need his parents because the Lord/Buchanan family is too damaged to be able to believably welcome him. Viki's enabling of Todd and Jessica has taken away a lot of the family warmth and so has the sidelining/Asa-ing of Clint, as well as just how victim-ish and out of control of their own lives Jessica and Natalie sometimes seem to be. Not even getting into Bo, who no longer has any relationship with the family beyond the sneers with Clint.

If OLTL stays around then I wish they could bring back Cord and Tina and set them up as a different branch of the Buchanan family, one which does not have so much toxicity.

Yeah, I like that idea actually, and it's realisitc. My dad and his sister get along great but they lead very separate family lives with their own children and grandchildren. It would be interesting to see Tina of course continue to interact with her sister, but not have her life revolve around Viki's approval. Their little run-in a couple summers back was incredibly disappointing, ugh ugh ugh. But say, Tina and Cord in their own home for starters, not at Llanfair, not at Moorecliff/Alexandria/whatever the hell they're calling Asa's mansion these days, but at their own digs with their own life.

And why can't Cord come back and make a play for Kelly or vice versa?

when I see the term cougar, I visualize a woman who is significantly older than her male partner. Like 15+. Something like Dorian and David. Kelly and Rex? Not so much? She'd have to be dipping in the same pool as Starr for me to get that vibe from her.

Haha, next thing we will see is Kelly fighting Starr over James. Nate will be legal next year right? If not they can always SORAS him a year to 18 and Kelly can fight Danielle over him

LMAO! I liked the show. I HATED the constant flashbacks though. I cant even remmebr this guy

Why not? Dorian/Joey was so popular. Why not have the same Kelly who banged her stepson show up to next year's prom. It worked wonders for Jess didn't it? This time next year she'll be rubbing her belly in preparation of the birth of a brand new Ford.

    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
    • Thanks @Franko  @slick jones You may be interested in the Elisabeth Shue mention. I have to laugh that they apparently didn't even know Teri Hatcher was on Capitol. I have scans somewhere of SPW talking with soap actors about Soapdish. Some, like Mary Stuart, were not happy. I never had a lot of interest in the movie myself.
    • I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me).   I agree with all of this!
    • I know that Secret Storm had moved back to the 4/3 PM timeslot in the final months on air, so it's possible that they were trying to employ new techniques/elements to lure the teen demographic.   If that episode was around November/December 1973, I do wonder if the owners (AHS) were still trying to shop the show to other networks still.. or if they had accepted that the show was going to officially go off the air in Feb 1974 at the time of this episode airing.
    • Jordan should have been killed or written out a decade ago.
