Andy should have been paired with Molly. He was gone in 2000, so they overlapped a bit but still ... Hogan likely had no use for him. DeFreitas and later Holroyd being dumped always pissed me off. I never really felt like they served the same story purpose (Andy and Molly had been split for a year before Jake arrived), but I do think the vets were phased out in favor of shiny new hires.

Goutman wanted Howarth and saw it as a get to grab him from OLTL/ABC I was mad that Holroyd got switched out OLTL offered him Kevin Buchanan but the way ATWT burned him he wasnt interested

That sucks. Would have loved it. Daytime has burned several good actors/actresses.

Even with Holroyd in the role, Goutman and Sheffer failed Paul as a character. I don't even want to go back and watch any of that. One of the worst headwriting and production teams in soap history.

As well as the events that lead to it. But ATWT couldn't sustain it. My favorite moments were Holden finally getting his memory. Diego locking up Holden and Lucinda in her wine cellar. Where they finally buried the hatchet.

One of the worst headwriting and production teams in soap history. Also, so. much. this! They got rid of Holroyd just as Paul was starting to show traces of complexity. Then Holroyd gets dumped and we get Howarth's tomfoolery and clownery as Paul. Make no mistake, at least 70 percent of that foolishness was baked into the writing.

Most of my SOW are with ATWT in the front cover. 1 minute ago, victoria foxton said: Me too. I used to buy them in a newsstand near my high school. Starting with the first issue. I'd buy mine from WalMart. I'd read a few pages plus the weekly ratings. If I liked the articles I'd buy the magazine.

So is Carly on GH, I just personally think they were bad for their respective shows. ATWT's Carly less so but even still...I found her very grating (Maura's acting style is not my cup of tea). April 23, 20205 yr Member No, that would've been July of 2002. Barbara was acquitted of that, there was no need for her to jump out of a window. I think in 2004 she was being held as James' accomplice in Baby Cabot's kidnapping? Edited April 23, 20205 yr by P.J.
