I was tempted to post that promo of Shannon last week when I posted the episode of Lily and Dusty dancing to Prince's Let's Go Crazy. Thanks for doing it. That one has always made me chuckle. It shows that soaps can actually (and often used to) use humor in their promos.

I don't know if this has ever been posted. It was uploaded over 4 years ago, but I just came across it for the first time tonight.

Some quick thoughts: nobody wanted to meet Nancy? Also, I'm pretty sure the music playing throughout is the GL theme from the late 60s.

That's the best story Hogan Sheffer did IMO. I think its even featured on one of DVD releases for ATWT.

As much as I couldn't stand most of Hogan's tenure, I must admit that his first year-and-a-half was just what the show needed. Characters were revitalized, people were talking about ATWT, Emmys started coming, and most importantly umbrella-type stories started appearing, all resulting from the simple idea of splitting up Hl and Barbara. Unfortunately, once the whole original story finally wound down, Hogan had no second act.

I believe Carolyn Colliton was his co headwriter during the 1st year or so of his stint...which might by why the 1st year wasn't too bad of his stint.
