Ugh! Kristina. I am a fan of Lexi's work throughout the abuse story, but may I just say how much I DO NOT MISS Kristina and Michael's "We're totally fcuked up" pity parties every other episode? I mean, it was bad enough watching Michael nearly want to commit suicide because he couldn't have sex with a hooker college girl. But imagine having to compound that with Kristina having a nervous breakdown simply because Brenda handed her a tube of lipstick!

Kristina is primed to be an adult bitch. She already has someserious issues and the character is a mess. I dont see much potential in changing her and making her the show's ingenue. That role was supposed to be Georgie's and they went and killed her off. What a waste

GH doesn't have bitches, at least not intentional ones. The women are too weak and dependent on men for that.

That's the acting choices more than the character.

The problem, as I see it, with Elizabeth (and I like the character just fine) is the minute she was raped, she became the ingenue a.k.a. the Resident Damsel in Distress. And, just like All My Children's ingenue, Bianca, once the character gets to a certain point in their life, being the ingenue is no longer an option. The character either needs to be reshaped or written off. However, either way, a new ingenue needs to come in to fill that role. That hasn't happened yet. They just traded Becky in for Vanity, so now it's Brenda's turn -- yet again -- to be the Damsel in Distress. And, when Vanity leaves, if they haven't brought on a new character, I bet you there will be another Liz in Peril story.

That's why Liz is always broke. That's why Liz is always pregnant. That's why Liz has 8 children and no nanny. That way, she'll always be in need of some form of rescuing, fulfilling her role as the Damsel in Distress. It's the only way I can make any sense of why, in a world where Carly is f upper class, Liz is barely above poverty level.

Carly's status has elevated while Liz, direct kin of the Hardys for cripes sake, seems to have leveled off, if not dropped.
