April 17, 201312 yr Member I thought it was fitting, it was JR controlling his own fate. I hated the idea of JR dying by some robber

April 21, 201312 yr Member Oh damn that was a good finale with good twists and revelations! I love how JR was In control of his own death and framing Cliff for it was such an unexpected yet logical way to go about with it all. Very fitting Did anyone else think the nurse was Pam? I kept paying attention to her in those scenes with Christopher. Emma continues to be a slut Elena? Irrelevant! I love how Rebecca is back in the good graces of the family and Elena has all been pushed out. Can she go away next season? The twist with her family's land would have been so much better had she been a better character with a different actress You know this served as a good series finale too in the event that the shoe wasn't going to be renewed.
April 21, 201312 yr Member The finale wasnt bad but it could have been better...I wish we could have gotten an actual cliffhanger...but we didnt....

April 23, 201312 yr Member The finale wasnt bad but it could have been better...I wish we could have gotten an actual cliffhanger...but we didnt.... I don't mind. This show is on shaky ground, so I think they are trying to do right by fans.
April 23, 201312 yr Member They didn't have a cliffhanger for season one either and this is a show known for cliffhangers. I think the biggest problem with launching the show for season two is that TNT really didn't have anything to promote. Once Larry Hagman died they had a huge story they could use for promotion and ratings went up. For the next season finale once again you will have a tepid show and nothing to promote since everything was pretty much wrapped up.

April 30, 201312 yr Member Even though I thought Season 2 wasn't as great, for me (the last half was much better than the first half), I'm thrilled it's getting a Season 3.
May 1, 201312 yr Member Ugh really, TNT The 15-episode Season 3 is slated to launch in early 2014. http://tvline.com/2013/04/30/dallas-renewed-season-3-tnt/#comment-1022508
May 1, 201312 yr Member I'm still watching the final episodes of season 2 and I was really impressed by it. I's clssic soap opera material and the plotting is actually quite clever on the most part. Its nowehere original but sooo much better than season 1. I truely like it - Larry Hagman's passing served more a boost than a burden on thre show - which I would have never imagined...

May 8, 201312 yr Member I don't see the problem? That seems expected to me Almost a year away, way too long IMO if they want to sustain the viewers they've got.
