NLG talks [!@#$%^&*] all the time and doesnt get fired. Hell, she told a costar to meet her ina back ally and wasnt fired.

Plenty of stars do.

Franco was on SNL, it was a skit, and it was funny. Any soap star that had been hosting SNL would have done a similar skit.

I have a lot of soap actors or writers on my facebook friends. I can say Jeanne Cooper, Kristoff St John, Daniel Goddard, Tom Casiello are really sweet. Tom and Jeanne sent me a note for my birthday. I chatted once with Rick Hearst while he was about to leave the B&B building after a day of taping, he was wonderfully nice.

Nancy Curlee Demorest is probably the best one. I loved interview her, she was really nice and a real treat on Facebook. Most of you know who was totally the contrary of her and is definitely no longer my friend on Facebook.

I didn't know that Michael posted on SOC. I have seen Daniel Goddard post over on SOC and he seemed nice.

Vincent Irizarry doesn't Tweet a lot and lately it seems like someone else is Tweeting for him. But when he does Tweet he seems pretty nice and appreciative of his fans.

Also I heard that Ricky Paull Goldin will follow fans if they follow him. I know at least a couple of fans who said after they followed him, he started following/sending requests to follow them. And I don't even think they really tweeted anything to him to get his attention, I think he just wanted to follow them, because they were following him.

She was very rude. I interviewed her and she was not happy by the result (I didn't change anything from what she said but she probably regretted some bashing she did) and threatened me to keep me from interviewing anybody else from the soap medium.

Hmmmm...your clue gave it away. I don't know much about her. I have seen pics of her...but who knew she was a [!@#$%^&*]....lol

So how was she going to prevent you from interviewing anyone else?? Can you say who she bashed? That is the juicy stuff. Why did she bash if she didn't want it out?...lol

    • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point

    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.

    • It's obvious that Israel's presence is a major divisive issue, and this is something that the EBU needs to deal with. According to the now published results Israel got 13 out of a possible 19 max points in the semi-final, and while their song isn't bad there's no way they would get those numbers without some kind of manipulation/political voting. They are clearly using this contest as a way of improving their somewhat tarnished reputation. I know that some people are comparing this to the massive sympathy votes that Ukraine gets and which propelled them to victory in 2022, but I feel that that was a more genuine show of support than this concerted effort from Israel to influence the televoting. I even had an ad on Youtube from Israel in Swedish(!) asking for votes! It might not be against any rules, but it feels a bit icky nonetheless.
    • Yeah, as you wrote, an Israeli win would have been a political disaster. Congratulations to Austria. 0 points from the televoting to Switzerland was a disgrace. Other than that, I really enjoyed the show ... but I'm also glad that Eurovision season is over

    • Hahaha Sorry if I was too negative, I just started typing and typing once I got going hahaha
    • @dc11786 Thanks for taking time to answer my various questions, along with giving your thoughts on the different writing teams. I wonder why they didn't just have Ryder and TR leave together if Jane was going anyway. The discussions over the last few pages have made me more interested in watching these episodes than I have been over the years - without the extra details and analyses provided, these years can be difficult to decipher (not helped by how often Jo seems like a side character).
