Many of you OLTL complain about AMC BUT I don't see OLTL getting good ratings also.

AMC was the KING of ABC back in the early 1990's. They were the #1 ABC rated soap.

OLTL is going to be canned before AMC. Just face it.

Stop taking all your hate to AMC.

And BTW to the person who brought up the Emmy wins, does NOT mean they are good actors.

As said by an AMC fan, LOL. Nobody knows what going to happen to any show. I don't see either one of them going off the air any time soon. Anyway, based on OLTL's demos (especially if they keep them up), I personally wouldn't count on them going first.

This whole AMC vs. OLTL battle is just so Tyler Perry's Diary of a Mad Soap Viewer.

"Mama Agnes always loved me more!"

"I'm his wife! You're just his Llanview ho!" *slap*

"Pray for demos, baby! The Lord will provide them." *gospel music swells*

Wow...B&B is tanking--you'd think that they would benefit from the Y&R lead in and cast ties. I remember 2.1 being the cut off line for ATWT staying on air and wonder if the same applies to Bold. ATWT crashed, probably in part to B&B weakness, and that sucks 'cause the show is actually fairly good now. Looks like OLTL is, again, part of the pack and even the demos have been moving up.

Nelson is a dick for the AMC snub but he has been doing the same to ATWT for a while.

Here is what I would love to see.

Once ATWT goes off the air, CBS loses their #1 overall daytime ranking (which they have had for so many years).

NBC and ABC soaps get a boost

B&B falls back into the pack where it will only get 2nd on rare occasions

I have watched CBS soaps for most of my life, but after they cut off the oxygen to ATWT, and then discarded it, I would love to see them go down in flames.

I feel a strange connection to OLTL For some reason, even though I have never really watched it much. I don't know if it is because of Nora (who used to be Margo) or the Paul connection or whether it seems like it used to be very similar to ATWT (before the 2000's) in the fact that it concentrates more on family and the actors look like real people and not unemployed runway models (like AMC). I remember always looking at DAYS in the 90's, with all the supernatural nonsense, and thinking how thankful I was that ATWT would never do such stupid story-lines (little did I know what ATWT had in store for it).

I am kind of rambling, but I hope OTLT picks up some of the ATWT actors and moves up in the ratings. At the first sign of stupid story-lines from Passionette (I bet she is dying to introduce a teenage vampire story to daytime knowing her complete lack of taste and imagination), I hope they boot her to the street. Beware of her nonsense and unrealistic stories. She loves to have people travel from one side of the country to the other with no explanation. She also loves to make characters 'insane' for years at a time.

I don't hate GH but they have had seriously problems for a very long time instead of correcting them they just carry on..

too many to mention..too many characters, mainly the unholy triad and their appendages who leech to their story serving little to no purpose.

I did enjoy the eppy with Nancy L Grahn and Brandon Barash acted off each other. Enjoyed Robin and Patrick's shenannigans re: her going to Africa. Elizabeth writing is still wretched. But to make a long story short...its the Michael Corinthos show and has been for a long time now...All Sonny's chillun' This is the first full eppy I've watched since Carnivale Fall '09.

I just can't deal with sloppy writing from a team of highly paid scribers its no excuse for it. They just don't care.
