GH: April Discussion Thread

Carly is that you? Twisted morality alert. LOL! Why on earth should Robin lie under oath and perjure herself for Sonny? Let everyone else who testifies perjure themselves. Besides, it a hell of lot more dramatic to see Robin reluctantly tell the truth than listening to the lies pouring out of everyone else's mouth at that bogus trial.

I wouldnt even call it out right lying. She simply should have told Claire, she didnt remember the exact words said. I just think its so ironic that she's been going around for weeks trying to influence everyone she can to lie in order to protect Sonny and when it comes down to it, she's the one that ends up making him look more guilty bc she wont lie. Just yesterday she was trying to manipulate Olivia's testimony and it wasnt too long ago, she was getting up in Dante's face and she fights with Patrick all the time about this very same issue. I dont get her.

You just described the point of Robin's passionate defense of Sonny. Guza was going for irony. He likes to do this to create drama where none exists. It isn't like Robin and Sonny are tight any more so there is no reason for her to be so overly involved in his legal problems. Hell, Robin was lashing out at Sonny at that very party where he berated Claudia. I love that Guza had Robin stay true and tell the truth on the stand. Sonny would expect nothing less. His love for her being his last redeeming quality.

Did Julie Berman have a day at the plastic surgeon? Her face looks really pulled back, she can barely move her forehead and her lips could use some major Preparation H.

I can't believe Keifer would risk getting arrested by hitting her AGAIN! It makes me even more mad that...

...Alexis hits him with her car and kills him instead of him paying for his crimes the right way. It just means that he gets away with what he did and that he dies a victim.

I think she has had a lot of work done, but because she is young and she only does it now and then, it isn't very obvious.

It didn't look very subtle in today's show. I swear, the poor girl looks like she went to Jacqueline MacInnes Wood's doctor. Scary girls so young cannot move their faces or their lips.

I agree, but I heard

i heard that it is an accident, which i would much prefer than her doing it purposely.

But he still doesn't pay. He dies a victim!

If GH isn't smart enough to keep her, her agent should complile these clips as its own reel and push hard for her to work on one of the Law and Orders. No doubt I'd watch every week.

She's OK. But not that good.

I agree, but I personally would MUCH rather Alexis accidentally run over him than Sonny deliberately have him killed, you know? Because It least this way, it wasnt a deliberate attempt on anyones life, and Alexis will still have to deal with the fact the she killed him, and she will have to go on knowing that even though what he did to her daughter was HEINOUS and he deserved to pay, he didn't deserve to die.

And I heard he possibly makes it to the hospital alive, so there is a possibility that maybe his guilt will be revelaed before he is dead, which would in turn allow for punishment proceedings to begin before he dies.

I do agree that him going on trial and going to jail could have been great, but I knew from the start it wasnt going to happen becauseo n GH, the only people that EVER make it to trial before being written off, are Sonny and Jason. Anyone else just automatically goes to jail or dies.

So, I would much rather this story than Ethan getting a bullet in his head from Sonny/Jason, which was the other option!

She's OK. But not that good.

I have to disagree. Normally when Sonny goes on trial, the prosecution is a wimpy little man/woman that has absolutely NO chance of convicting Sonny, but Claire is a spunky/charasmatic, legal eagle, who we actually get to see have interactions with multitude of characters, and who has actually a GOOD CHANCE at convicting sonny (orr she WOULD, if Guza wasnt such an ASS),and Dahlia Salem plays this to a TEE.

It is horrible that these young attractive actresses are unnecessarily getting all this work done. These doctors need to tell them to stop or refuse to do the work. At this rate, they will both be the next Hunter Tylo.
