Y&R: Uncasting Spumor?

From reading what he's posted on Twitter today, I'm guessing that Michael Muhney is finished on Y&R and Adam will meet his maker very soon - they're obviously building up to a murder mystery SL.

When the actor thanks everyone who has supported him and his character over the past year, and it's been a privlege working on the show etc, I think that's a very obvious sign.

OMG, let this be true. Let him be really-and truly out the door. Adam has so much potential; now, I just want to pretend like he never existed.

Unless he's a MENSA member who's faked people out before with rumors of his departure.

Here's how I see it going: Adam gets Pemily to release him. But then there is a "murder". It will likely involve a burning or something beyond recognition.

But remember that guy he met at the diner just before the "intervention"? The guy who was SOOOOO grateful? The guy who some said resembled Adam, at least in body type? Remember what a sore back Adam had? You could get that sore back if you gave a bone marrow donation.

Somehow (and I haven't worked out the details), I'm thinking Adam gave bone marrow/stem cells to the fella. And I'm thinking that that fella will be the one who's REALLY burned beyond recognition. And I'm thinking his bones (all that are left) are going to test positive with Adam's stem cells/DNA.

That leaves Adam to lurk off camera for a shocking reveal some day in the future.

But that's just gonna be Adam looming the shadows. Yawn. Like Sheila. Not reintegrated or in any way turned into a viable character.

Exactly.

I have no desire to ever see Adam again but I do wonder if they may keep kicking this horse to try to prop the Newmans and because they think that his reign of terror was "fun", as Rauch called what he did to Ashley.

His social media/IMDb doesn't have his age but from some posts he's made, I'm guessing 1989 is his birth year.
    • Here's the timeline, as I recall it being published. The WGA strike was 5/2–9/27/2023 Annalynne McCord was announced as being hired in December 2023, for a one-year contract https://deadline.com/2024/06/days-of-our-lives-when-to-expect-annalynne-mccord-peacock-1235975806/ RonC's first scripts back from the strike began airing May 31, 2024 (around Konstantine & Maggie's wedding) https://www.tvinsider.com/1137709/days-of-our-lives-writers-return-15000th-episode-storylines/ Her first air date was June 19th 2024. The actress has said she was not told who she would be playing until she started taping. RonC 's replacements were announced July 2024, with his scripts airing through April 2025 Side note: DAYS social media team seems to be playing fast and loose with BTS videos, in terms of how far in advance they film content, so we shouldn't assume anyone's current status, versus those who were there nine months ago.
    • April and her husband (Draper) are the "young leads" who tie all the storyline threads together.  They're normally in the center of the action.  In this particular storyline, Draper is the attorney who represents Paige Madison.  (The district attorney, Logan Swift, has given Paige Madison "temporary immunity from prosecution" if she will lead the police to the members of the Tobias Gang who stole the firearms.  But Paige mainly just ducks bullets from various gang members who pop-up to assassinate her.)
    • It's one thing to post about a soap's rumors or gossip, which in point of fact we've all done. It's another to present yourself as the inside source who knows something to be fact that's about to break wide, then backtrack and call it just Twitter speculation. Between those two extreme poles you have to commit to one or the other. If I got something wrong, I'd say it. (Nor would I keep playing insider after what I pulled with Drake Hogestyn, which should've gotten someone permanently banned.) And regardless, you don't open with this 'news' you don't actually want to stand by yet by mocking DRW's extremely valid concerns re: how the Trina character and Tabyana Ali has been marginalized and put out to virtual pasture ever since the day NAC left. Her playing out her current contract in a C-storyline with Kai does not change that.
    • Yeah, I thought it would be more explosive or heated and it was kind of standard.  Both can do more with the material.  I just don't think the writing was there.
    • Daphnée and TMG are on Instagram live (as we speak) and are saying they don’t know why Maurice left.
    • Anita let SilkPress know what time it was!
    • Kat vs. Eva and Anita vs. Leslie were today's highlights.
    • TBF, the majority of Month 2 was them beefing up all the side-stories...mind you Duprees as well as non-Duprees...and it did not seem like people were taking to it as well as they were taking to stories in Month 1. If anything I feel (hope) that May Sweeps is going to shift...while dealing with the aftermath of the Nicole/SilkPress storyline...to the next big story aka Martin's Secret. But that's me hoping that Martin's meltdown over SilkPress jiggles some memories of his out...which I was already hoping would happen. Add on that Bill is involved in both stories now...that might be his way of being sure nothing happens to him now in light of SilkPress's antics.    And...same. I feel they did a better job than expected with Vanessa/Doug with me because I didn't even realize how invested I was until their talk at the hospital and Doug made that subtly blunt comment about their arrangement...making the various online discussions online real. And for me, relevant.
