I would take Aviva Drescher, Kelly Bensimon, Brandi Glanville, Kim Richards at her most desperate and vicious, Jill Zarin, or Kim Zolciak over Ms. Erika Jayne and her frozen sourpuss any day of the week. Hell, give me the Salahi woman from DC.

So agree. She makes everything so tiny into something major and serious.

Don't get me started on that trash box occupying the 5th seat on The View. I still wish that they would've wooed back Nicole Wallace or simply kept Jedidiah Bila. Hell, I'd even settle for Elizabeth Hasselbitch returning at this point.

But wasn't she at one point? After all, wasn't Lips trying to get on the show for a while before she actually did?

POTOMAC

Oooo...Robyn's temper gets the best of her and she got in Monique's face. Uh oh.

That said...that looked good.

Yeah, I didn't like that at all. Erika has fallen so far since her first season. Bully is not a good look on her. But as that promo reveals (and there was some picture I believe floating around at some point) I am looking forward to Kyle calling her out. Cuz you know it must be bad when KYLE does it.

The amount of gushing and adulation she gets is insane. It's everywhere, on every blog, podcast or article about BH I read. It's got to the point where I actually wonder if I'm nuts for not getting it. I want to like her but there is no humor or shading with her. Everything is so literal.

Everything Teddi relayed to LVP and Kyle about what Dorit said was Facts Only. Seeing Erika go after the newbie to score points for herself is so... pedestrian. Doesn't every low-ranking HW striving for relevancy do this in order to assure her place on the show? Isn't that beneath *Mikey finger-snaps* the Kween of Mykanos? Erika and Rinna are trying to make Teddi the fall guy for the season while Teflon Dorit slithers away unscathed. Erika likes to pretend she's the only one on the show who calls it like it is, but Teddi is fast taking on that mantle now. Plus I don't think Teddi is intimidated by Erika's Tom's money either.

I don't know and can only speculate. But my impression is the Hustler chickened out for S1 because BH was an unknown entity. As its fame quickly grew, she came knocking again. I remember her on WWHL gushing like a fan and name-dropping Kyle. Which is also why I don't buy her recent story that she has never watched the early seasons when her pre-BH appearances on WWHL seemed to suggest otherwise.

Erika kind of was bully-ish from day one. She and Yolanda (two peas in a pod) orchestrated the Munchausen witch-hunt. I remember the BBQ at Erika's house where Yolanda showed up and they confronted Rinna about Munchausen, and Erika screamed at Rinna "TELL US WHO F*CKIN TOLD YOU TO SAY IT!" Because Yolanda was busy cryo-freezing the Lyme out of her system much of the time, it was left to Erika to play the enforcer.

    • His original motives were unclear and all we knew was that he was working for Iris. But when it was revealed that Evan was Janice's son we found out that he had fallen in with Iris not because he wanted to follow Iris specifically but because he had his own anti-Rachel agenda. Charles Grant had more charisma than the later recast Eric Scott Woods who seemed younger to me.
    • Throwing this out to the universe: finding Elisabeth Shue's episode of As the World Turns (which I guess would have been circa 1983, maybe just before RDJ started watching Search for Tomorrow).

    • I thought today was still good. Leo is always awful, but the characters treating him like he's a plague feeds my soul. Rafe in particular had been very passive about him, but today was wonderful seeing him put Leo on notice. I really think it's being written that Javi is going to have to eventually take the blinders off and see Leo for who he really is. Them having sex on Gabi's desk made me want to explode. Roman taking in stray Doug was nice to see. And the mention of Frankie and Max was unexpected, but good to know they're at least being thought of. Tate being petty and a bit vindictive by going back to Sophia's as soon as he saw Doug with Holly was entertaining for me. I think I actually like Tate the most out of all of them because he's so damn messy.  Is Holly about to be kidnapped? Her first time? Also, Gabi finally revealing what happened with her the night EJ was shot and the clearing of all the other main suspects, but Johnny made this still feel like an important episode. I think Johnny will be cleared soon enough leaving everybody at a loss for the hell shot EJ. How the real shooter will be revealed is going to be interesting.  Speculation: When Kristen finally puts together that her daughter Rachel shot him, she'll agree to frame her mother for the crime, while keeping her hidden away from Salem.
    • That would have saved the Anita singing segment -- having her by herself, singing quietly and reflectively. Belting it out like she was in church did not work. The black screens fade at the end was a mistake. BTG insists on being different with these fades for the sake of being different, and it's not working.   I thought all of that was just fine. Worked for me.   I'm going to disagree with this. Martin hasn't had many scenes with his parents, but he's been around family A LOT -- and that's what matters. We also know Martin is someone with a hair trigger response. He can be very emotional when discussing an issue before getting to the logic and reason of it all.
    • My view of Evan is that he's smart but not as smart as he thinks he is, not a good guy but not an entirely bad guy - he's a lot of things, the show never quite knowing what to do with them. I never saw him as Iris' follower because Iris always seemed a bit in over her head from the start.
    • She was the Town Historian, who knew a bit too much about Brandon and the infamous cottage.  SF was still a pretty normal place at that time, with Nola and Reva being the most outrageous citizens....seems that Carrie Pipper would have stood out a bit more for people.

    • Yes, I need to dot hat. Also on my list talking to the person I got these files from since they clearly have a mess, in terms of dates being wrong. And, unfortunately finding one date wrong, automatically means more are wrong, too.
