Kenya keeps y'all seething hot mad when all she does is production's bidding.  Y'all don't think that messy Carlos King (and potentially Andy) told these women to bring this up? But what's funny is that she wasn't the only one that brought light to the situation *coughs* Phaedra, Porsha, Nene *coughs* but they get passes of course.

Yeah, those rumors weren't out since Living Single, but everyone on gossip blogs and forums have been talking Chris being potentially gay (I believe he is) for years

Sorry to break it to y'all but I doubt Kenya goes anywhere at this point. She'll be the center of the reunion yet again, thus solidifying her spot in season 9. :P

That aside, all these women are extremely messy. All these women have taken low blows. All these women are most likely miserable. It ain't just Kenya. All of them are down in the gutter with her doing the same mess for the same check.

Thats not true. Kenya did not say this. She said she has KNOWN Kim since Living Single and then followed it up with "for the past 10 years, there have been pervasive rumors..." She never said she heard stuff from the LS days

All the women save Sheree and Cynthia were coming for "Chris being gay" yet Kenya is getting the brunt of the blame. She wasnt even the one that started it as Phaedra, Nene and Porsha were all throwing shade and pointing out how feminine and sassy he was. They all followed up with that in their talking heads

LuPeta trying to come for Matt was indeed pathetic. I guess he felt he's been too quiet this season and needed to turn up. Boy bye

Anyone else annoyed how they kept calling it 'mercial". Ya'll too lazy to say the extra syllable.

Nene was decent in this episode. Color me shocked. Cant really hate on her as she conducted herself well.

This is what annoys me. Everyone overlooks the other women but call Kenya out. Like Kim, don't be selective. All the women were equally messy. Kenya was just blunt and honest, which is actually to be respected. She at least said the sh-t upfront while the others skirted around the issue while indicating the man was gay in their opinions. Especially, Porsha and Phaedra.

But Kenya being honest makes her miserable and ugly.

Was Nene miserable when she took shots at Kim's kids having two different daddies? Or when she deemed Noelle (Cynthia's daughter) to being 'fast' for having a beau?

Was Phaedra miserable when poached Nene's estranged sisters behind the scenes in an attempt to bring them on the show, or the countless other underhanded things she did?

Was Porsha miserable when she brought up Peter cheating on Cynthia or Kordell, her own ex, being gay?

Was Cynthia miserable when she brought up Phaedra/Mr. Chocolate?

Was Sheree miserable when she brought up Bryce stealing from Walmart?

All these women are damn miserable and messy at the end of the day but they do it for our entertainment.

All these women have taken shots below the belt.

Good lord is grandpa Peter really trying to come for Matt? Have a seat in your wheelchair, AARP. Ain't nobody checking for you.

I was all ready to rip Kenya apart for her role in trying to slander Kim's husband but... Dudes gay. My gaydar was so far off the charts I filed a missing persons report.

You ain't alone. My gaydar is off the scale too when it comes to Kim's husband.

It ain't slander if it is true and I believe it is. Kim always seemed so desperate to have a man and family, she'd settle being beard rather than being alone. I remember her doing a biography story around the time of her first divorce, and she wreaked of desperation; she went on and on about being depressed post her first marriage. This was before she even got with Chris.

exactly and I take back what I said about Kenya getting the brunt of the blame. She is getting ALL the blame. I didnt see Nene, Phaedra or Porsha try to shut that conversation down. I didnt see them opt to bow out like Cyn and Sheree. Nope they were willing participants, contributing and cracking jokes about it YET its all Kenya's fault as usual as if they werent implying he was gay earlier in the episode before she even entered the picture. Nope Kenya planted that seed in their head and made them talk about it:rolleyes:

I don't think there's anything wrong with googling someone at all, but like you said the gossiping about it especially someone's finances is where the issue lies.

Katie comes off so pathetically desperate. It's not even like her man his uber rich. She's gotta feel embarrassed when she watches this. I'm sure her boyfriend is.

RHOA

I'm not even touching this episode. All of the women outside of Cynthia were disgusting and fake as [!@#$%^&*].

Somewhat both. Ana's was, "In the courtroom and the kitchen, I bring the heat." Kathy's was, "If you can't stand the heat then get out my kitchen." So the line has been used to death.

OK. Glad it isn't just me. Katie wreaks of desperation. I thought her and her beau kissing at the party was gross and was obviously being done for the cameras. I think the women start discussing her next week....

Phaedra was the first one to refer to him as being sassy in her talking heads in the episode. I found it odd that no one has called that out. Phaedra was the first one to call him sassy at the sit-down. Porsha and Phaedra had already went in on Chris with so much homoerotic shade that by the time Kenya came in and bluntly presented the actual gossip, the seed was already planted. Again, all their asses were guilty except Sheree and Cynthia for once.

Stop it now, saying someone is sassy is not calling them gay! He IS sassy! And it does not mean he's gay! And all Nene said was that Chris told her he was a dancer and actor on broadway, which would explain his boisterousness. Again, didn't insinuate he was gay. The only person who SAID that he was gay and brought that to the table was KENYA. Come on, y'all! You will defend this old bitch no matter how wrong her cratered ass is!! Lol I gotta give it to you for loyalty.

    • I think Steve and Shawn track down Kevin and Jeffrey gives them one dose on the sly in exchange for keeping it quiet. John's organs will go to Bo. We know he's not really coming home. Xander won't make the board meeting so EJ will get the hospital by default. And Kate will tell Xander that Sarah lied to him precisely because she feared he would do something like this to Philip  Those are my Friday predictions! Was a good show. I felt Philip's fear in that last scene.

I guess Susan was necessary today, but I really wish she’d leave. Marlena putting EJ on blast about Belle was pretty good though, and I hope they continue to use Marlena in their storyline. I’m interested in seeing what happens to EJelle in the aftermath of the John storyline. And I really wish we were seeing Paul and Andrew moving in on John’s location. If they can’t get Christopher Sean on the show, they should at least try to get Colton Little.  I liked how smart Xander was today and that he immediately that Philip stole the drug. He did a pretty good job in his scenes where he confronted Philip as well. I also appreciate the way that Philip’s been written lately; more like a tragic hero than a bratty, goofy clown. Which is all the more reason that I hope the triangle with Stephanie and Alex is revived. But Xander did seem a little overly melodramatic in his last scene though And, I can’t help but think that Dr. Russell being so hesitant about involving the police in the drug theft could be a sign of something.
    • I haven’t watched since Daisy’s last episode. Part of me feels like its a good place to end it because outside of The Platt’s, Tracy, Todd, and Carla and Swain I haven’t really enjoyed the show. Too many depressing stories and irksome characters, I especially hate what they’re doing to Debbie. I do think its funny they spent all this time investing into that awful new family and apparently they’ve already been canned, feedback must have been horrid.
    • I think the pre-Barnabas episodes are very underrated both for dialogue and character. They're slow but they really create a world and fill out the characters, imbuing them with heavy dimension that ultimately will have to sustain them for years as the show largely stops writing for character after it returns from 1795. What we know about them by then is what they have to power them. (I don't think the show was bad after, I actually love it in '68 and often in times after that, but it was very different.) I think the B&W episodes with Barnabas' early days are especially frightening - they terrified me as a kid - but the color stuff in '67 is also very strong, especially in the stretch where Julia is on the run, Carolyn is under Barnabas' control, and you get the sense that events have gone off the rails for the regular characters and anything goes. As a child viewer seeing it in syndication on the Sci-Fi Channel, who had no idea who lived or who died, it was a lot. Mitch Ryan is especially powerful in the early pre-Barnabas era as the sort of Byronic Burke Devlin character. You knew they had to kill him once Barnabas comes in, despite Ryan's alcohol problem making it impossible to keep him at the show - Burke dominates the first year or so as the fulcrum character, he's incredibly magnetic and charismatic. You couldn't see him becoming a dupe for Barnabas and Julia, as Anthony George's more benign, mild version briefly does before getting unceremoniously killed off. I always found Burke's offscreen plane crash death very eerie and suspicious, and I think the show does toy with the question if Barnabas' powers somehow got him on that plane and if he took it down. I had always wanted Burke to return one day, in any revival project, as a kind of vengeful power broker and puppet master, driven by Vicki's inevitable demise to get revenge on Barnabas and co. I still have Art Wallace's "Shadows on the Wall" DS bible somewhere. IIRC in the earliest versions of the plot Vicki was going to somehow be tied to the butler or his daughter - Betty Hanscomb or something. I don't remember the exact details. I do know there's all sorts of raised and dropped plotlines and characters offscreen in '66, like Ned Calder, the man they clearly intended to pair with Liz and so on. I've always found '66 very rich, but I don't begrudge the show after for it because it's still awfully well-written, specifically the early Barnabas stuff.
    • I totally agree with this, as most of you seem to. Mary Carney was at least competent and reasonably likable; I just feel like she barely had anything of substance to do before she was abruptly given the hook. And I get the backstory of Kathleen Tolan having done a play with Helen Gallagher, but...at any point did they ever actually READ her before they greenlit her? Because...OOF. First time I saw her on SoapNet was right when this GODAWFUL actress named Charity Rahmer played Belle on Days of Our Lives for all of three weeks before she was mercifully recast; her line readings were straight out of a Charlie Brown special. I remember thinking Kathleen Tolan could have played her mother! In the Frank/Jill/Delia triangle, Delia WAS the one who was cheated on, so I got why she was upset and thought it was perfectly valid in theory at least, but of course it was blown up to Wagnerian proportions including falls involving staircases and tricycles. But with Pat/Faith/Delia I had no sympathy for her...especially because it was mainly with Catherine Hicks's Faith and I really liked her.
    • I was going through those episodes from 1984 and early 1985 before they were taken down. Some of the older characters, like Don and even Tom, looked a little out of place, like they were on the wrong show. But the newer characters were fun. It's too bad they lost the character of Melissa. I guess Jennifer took her long-term place on the canvas.
    • How I will remember him...
