Anyone watch these shows? I absolutely love them. Ive watched NJ and Atlanta and now they are airing NY. Couldnt get into the Orange County. Too many blondes and fake boobs. Anyone else watching the current season of NY. Lots of drama. My favorites are Bethany and Kelly. I also like Jill although she bugs me. Alex does nothing for me and I cant stand Ramona and LuAnn

RHOM

Well, I gotta catch up on RHOM some time. lol. I haven't watched the latest yet. But from where I've been watching, I had to admit that I felt...nothing.

I found it odd. The ladies had been giving fashion. They have been giving trips. And of course, they have had some drama. So the episode before the one that was the latest felt a little too muted for me. I admit that I was surprised. Were the ladies finally BORING me?

Hehe. NOPE. I watched the episode before the latest one...and everything was back to normal for me. lol. I can't believe the finale is almost here. So I fully expect these storylines to close out. The only sour note that I have noticed that has been bugging me is the Alexia/Marysol tension. Production must be covering a la the old RHOM days because it has continued to be there and clear as day over Marysol's feelings for Todd, but it STILL hasn't boiled over yet. And I'm ready. Are we going to see it?

Meanwhile...

ALEXIA. I swear...she really does be the gift that keeps on giving. Why? I was just as shocked as Stephanie when she revealed she had a sister. I went WHHHATTT??? SINCE WHEN??? lol. I liked that her and Steph came to a meeting of the minds again. But it's interesting that Alexia also started to stir up some mess between Stephanie and Marysol. And then we are at the part of the season where the ladies are seeing that Alexia is NEVER leaving that man. So...still giving.

LARSA. GIRL, SHUT UP!!! Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE has told her to let this feud with Lisa go. And they have even told her how to do it so how she keeps walking into a scene and then...restart the SAME argument. Seriously...just SHUT UP. Outside of that, these last two episodes she gave NOTHING. Unless she was the one behind Adriana's shady birthday cake...

GUERDY. I loved her good humor and her Janet Jackson shoutout during the 80s event (and also Production being shady with everyone *cough*Larsa*cough*'s 80s picture). Besides that, I liked that she showed us her therapy session.

JULIA. I continue to feel there is more to the story of her adoptive kids and her kids than she is letting on. The only interesting thing about her otherwise has been the continuing deteriorating relationship between her and Adriana. I was surprised that she even realized it was her birthday.

LISA. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I liked for her and Production poking fun at the other girls finding out that she got to events first. It was funny. Now that scene with her and Jody was kinda...odd. And as she has done all season...Lisa stays giving LOOKS.

STEPHANIE. I love, love, LOVE that she's doing an event that also spotlights Adriana's singing. Help a friend out! ;) And it was funny seeing her mend fences with Marysol only for Alexia to stir that pot anew. A Marysol takedown? I doubt it, but we'll see.

FOH

ADRIANA. The feelings about growing older is real. And I liked that Adriana put a face on it. That said...she is hot AF. So it was sad to see her so down. And it was shady whoever did that to her birthday cake. It was also so telling where her friendship with Julia is now. I did like that Steph gave her a lifeline with her event. I also appreciated getting an update on her singing career.

KIKI. I liked that her and her father have come to some understanding.

MARYSOL. I mean what Alexia was not wrong. I was shocked that she was saying it. We had heard it before though. From Lea Black. From Ana. Marysol very much be manipulating from behind the scenes to take out people. It was why I enjoyed that she was being upfront at the start of the season with her pot-stirring.

Loved the premiere episode. I mean love LOVE LOOOOVED it. I liked that little homage they did with the Blair Witch Project movie. It's fun. But I couldn't help but wonder...  Are Bravo this desperate for ratings these days... that they HAVE to start a season with such a culmination episode? Gone are the days of the slow-burn. It's in your face drama and histrionics from the get go. Don't get me wrong. It's entertaining and I loved it, but will they be able to sustain this through the whole season? We'll see.

On the housewives - Heather continues to be insufferable. She is constantly overestimating her own intelligence and thinks she's witty and the leader. Bronwyn is off this season, she is way more unnatural, like she learned some lesson the first season and has decided to play a role. I still love her, but I miss something. Still, it's only 1 episode. Lisa Barlow continues to be a trigger for drama, the bish is such a toxic character, but somehow works for this show. She is embedded in the DNA of SLC. A toned-down Jody Claman. Even when she's away, she's still there like a ghost. Speaking of villains - Meredith - I see her in her usual... wait and calculate mode. A smart shark that is waiting for the moment to attack. Mary - chile... nothing's gonna make me hate this Goddess. She's the gift that keeps on giving. I'm so grateful that she's back again this season. They need to pay her anything she wants, because she is TV GOLD. Whitney and Angie aka mean girls from the dollar store... These two are struggling to stay relevant, I'll keep Whitney and toss Angie out if you ask me. Britani - infantile, but not as stupid as she appears.

I'm in agreement with everything. It was a good premiere (I don't care for the Blair Witch faux drama is which completely scripted baffoonery). I think the low-budget cast trip was a way to give us an immediate jolt from the get-go, like you said, and by Episode 3 we'll get into their personal lives (for those who actually have something going on beyond the show itself).

Agreed on tossing Dollar Tree villain Angie first. Listen, she makes things move, I will give her that. She's like Tamra Judge's inbred sister from the trailer park in terms of being the necessary pot stirrer of this franchise. But overall, she's all performative, with a smirk on her face the entire time. I suppose it's all performative these days though, isn't it?

Britani can't take social cues to save her life. I'm thinking it's still authentic, but it could be she's banking on her actual stupidity from last year and that's going to be her schtick.

Mary is love. Schtick or not, her jokes always land.

I actually do think they’ll be able to sustain it just cause last season was actually bat [!@#$%^&*] crazy every episode. I think more than any other cast, these ladies know they have a job to do and they 100% commit to it.

Bronwyn effortlessly ate up Lisa tonight without breaking a sweat. Lisa came prepped with one or two lines and then just got completely eaten up 😂

Aahahhaha! Your description of Angie... left me chuckling. So on point. That smirk... Ugh! And yes, Mary makes everything multi-dimensional. Just as it's about to get too serious, she brings out the light and the wit... not without a dose of venom when it's needed. She elevates the whole show.

Such a good comparison.  Lisa and Jody got under everyone's skin, but the only weapon used to fight with them are accusations of over-estimated wealth.  However, what bothers the cast is not a concern of the audience.  We assume most of them over-estimate their wealth, so it is rarely an accusation that sticks, and it just makes the housewife look like a snob.  There are plenty of more salient issues regarding Lisa's toxicity.  Thus, to lay all of their stakes on the idea that she's not as rich as she appears feels like a first draft in need of a re-write.

Time and again, if a housewife is faking their wealth, there are usually real world repercussions.  So, these gals have got to let nature takes it course.  Which is obviously tough for a group that was brought together at Beauty Lab & Laser, a business actually built on not letting nature take its course.  😎

Yes! Great analysis.

I Love That GIF Did you watch the second episode? Lisa was channeling Jody at the end... hardcore. You'll love it.

I haven’t seen a wife get eviscerated in a fight like that in awhile.

REUNION TRAILER!!!

I’m hoping it’s a red herring and Alexia is not doubling down on Julia throwing water on Guerdy.
