Where does one think he gets $8,000 to blow off at strip clubs? Phaedra didn't seem phased at all by that tidbit which means she knows. I highly doubt she's letting him blow her money away like that. He kept stressing it was his money and we know he has no income other than the personal training he does here and there. She may not have been directly involved but if she knew than she's almost as guilty. It makes her an accessory after the fact. Luckily as his wife, she cant be forced to testify against him but if they got info on her being knowledgable, then she's in deep water as well

I really don't think she is involved. Cynthia seems to be pressed that Peter keeps taking HER money, jeopardizing Noel's future in the process, without telling her. I don't think she is involved in this

Yeah, like I said - I wouldn't be at all surprised if she was aware. I just don't think she had her hands in it. Phaedra is too smart and strategic for that. I'm sure she has it all laid out so that when/if he goes down, she will move on, scotch free with all HER money in tact.

Kim at the Hollywood collectors show is the first time she's belonged on this show all season. She was light and fun and having a good time and while it may not be Beverly Hills fancy and rich, it fit on the show well IMO. But again, the segment ran about two minutes too long.

Love carlton and her husbands relationship and I wanna go to their party.

Is fat burger a sponsor this season?

LOVE Brandi and her group of girlfriends. Want more.

Lisa's concern is motherly. Yolanda's is not. It's a minor difference looking at it but if you've ever been in it I think you understand it.

Kyle has become obsessed with being Jewish these last two weeks.

Kyle is trying HARD with carlton. The scene where she gave her that necklace would be touching actually if it was genuine. Maybe it was but everything about her comes off as phony.

I think it was cool of the ladies to come knowing this party wasnt their scene. Their judgments were not even that bad.

Finally the return of the lemons!!!

Days of our Lives!!!!! Kyles lips tho.

Yolanda calling out Lisa. Yes.

Joyce went an episode with mentioning being bullied!!

Carlton was wrong to call Joyce out cuz it wasn't a dig at Brandi. At the same times Joyce shouted for weeks Brandi has a drinking problem so I get where she was coming from. And she didn't like attack she just called it out.

I love the days set. I love pulling up and the security gate and walking into the studio. Love seeing it on tv!! I forgot Kyle was on ER. Funny that she's guesting on days and she's IRL friends with Rinna.

Here Yolanda is again not mothering, but being concerned and a friend.

I mean Kyle has made digs about Carlton's religion but I also think she's being OTT.

That curse. Lol. She asked for it. And now she's scared bad paranoid.

Next week looks great. JAX!

    • You're probably right. They may have just wanted edits of certain characters. Hopefully the rest is around.
    • Of course!

I'm wondering if there were bits cut from this footage, because to me it seems that may be the case. At 11:23, Laurie tells her psychiatrist that the bar phoned and told her Mark got into a fight and needs to be picked up. It starts to fade to the next scene, you hear some different music begin and get cut off between the static, and where you'd expect to see the aftermath of the fight, we cut back to a later scene of Laurie in bed worrying about what's happening. The credits at the end also show that more than Mark, Laurie and Dr. Northcote should have been in this episode. Another character, Brody, played by Ed Setrakian, is mentioned but not shown. If this is the case, perhaps the original fan who saved this episode has the additional scenes.
    • Anyway… It’s a shame that the video that depicted Leticia’s death was removed from YT.

    • Ms. Phelps holds a BFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University, awarded in 1972. At a time when women were underrepresented in directing programs, she was one of the few women in her graduating class. To suggest that she possessed no further talents than completely changing the style of music used on soaps seems like a vast underestimate when one reads her online biography through an objective lens. I guess that I should be more clever than to constantly blame misogyny for these misguided interpretations of her management style.  But, I'll never comprehend why fans unquestionably align their opinions even years after fact. Post-modernism, and the ability to reinterpret context through the study of history, seems to elude this conversation.

    • This is 100% correct.  It was even on the nightly news where the US Government would not let the cast and crew travel to Egypt because it was deemed not safe.  The Achille Lauro hijacking took place on October 7, 1985, when the Italian ocean liner MS Achille Lauro was hijacked by four men representing the Palestine Liberation Front off the coast of Egypt, as she was sailing from Alexandria to Ashdod, Israel. The location shoot was probably scheduled to be filmed in mid-October to air throughout November with a two week tape to air date.  Remember on the show they did some in studio scenes doubling for Egypt before shifting the action to Arizona.  It was an awkward end to a truly bizarre storyline.

New episode from late 1973 or early 1974!
    • Coronation Street had a very good story where one of the characters befriended a man who she later learned had been involved in her husband's death - when told right it can be very powerful (not like AMC trying to make it a romance). ATWT almost had a big fire in mid-1994, so this seemed to be a "thing" with P&G at the time. I guess it fits the disaster backstage atmosphere.
    •   @jmgaw did not refer to Luke and Laura. Throughout 78 GH's ratings continued to rise as AW's fell. That turnaround was getting a lot of attention in the soap press with Scotty/Laura, Rick/Leslie/Monica etc . So the 90 min decision was a reaction to that. I guess the thinking was that 60 min expansion had worked so starting AW a half hour before might keep viewers from switching to GH at 3pm. I don't think anybody really thought it would work. The most sensible solution would have been to expand The Doctors and hope for a GH like turnaround, but for reasons unknown TD never went to an hour.
