Kim Zimmer To B&B?

The former GL star (ex-Reva) dished about her future on another soap at the So Long Springfield event at the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut last week. "I had a wonderful meeting with Brad Bell, who really is such a terrific man," she told fans. "I strictly just met with him because I didn't know him and I thought he should know me, so I set up the meeting and it went really well. Let's just say the possibility is out there. It's probably not going to happen anytime soon, but maybe in the near future, so keep your fingers crossed!"

You are a terrible! :P

I wondered how long it would be before the rumours would start regarding La Zimmer's next daytime destination. Y&R doesn't want her to play a de-aged Katherine?

Correction, bellcurve IS love

So basically, KZ is out there begging for work. I thought she might have gotten the GH cancer patient role when I heard the description. These guest stint roles are the only ones that she will be getting from now on. She should start doing community theater work and giving acting lessons.

Hilarious.

Didn't Kim turn down that awful Jojo role on Y&R, Katherine's pretend daughter who was working with Tucker?

B&B already has too many people they don't know how to write for, but I don't think she would be a bad Beth Logan (although I wouldn't want to see her reaction when learning she's playing mother to KKL...).

They don't need anymore middle aged women on B&B. If they are going to bring on anyone it should be Kristen to show Stuffy what a real Forrester is. Maybe they should hire Maura West or Cady McClain when ATWT's stops production.

I can see it now: KZ joins B&B as Whip's mother, Joy Jones; her first scenes w/ Susan Flannery, Rick Hearst and KKL air and Louella Parsons Hedda Hopper Nelson Branco raves in his column, "Reva who?"; someone from a KZ- or Jeva-affiliated board will report that Robert Newman is almost a done deal as Whip's dad; that one board post will spread to others like raging gonorrhea (sp?); Jeva fans will rejoice at the news that "their" couple will "reunite" on a different show; non-Jeva fans will ; B&B fans who've never watched GUIDING LIGHT will go, "WTF?"; SOD and SOW will report on all this like it's actual news; Brad Bell will be quoted, saying, "I am a tremendous fan of Newman's, and while I think he'd be a perfect addition to our cast, our canvas is pretty full right now, and I want to make sure he's in the right part," and blah blah; disbelieving Jeva fans will scream "Conspiracy!"; Babs Bloom will think, "Hmmm, maybe that's not such a bad idea after all!"; half the cast will be slaughtered put on recurring status; conspiracy theorists will claim it's so Bradkins can bring Newman aboard; rumors, which looked as if they were about to die, pick up again (that RN either will be joining B&B, or he has, and has taped his first scenes already); the network and show will claim they do not comment on such matters, but KZ will say she'd "love it" if "her Bud" were back around, and RN will be, like, "Well, you know, I am getting older, and I always enjoyed living in California..."; the word will leak - RN is coming to B&B after all; an SON administrator will release an official statement (grumbling how so-and-so beat him/her to the proverbial punch in the meantime, lol); Jeva fans throw tickertape parades in eight major cities, telling Y&R fans to kiss being number-one goodbye; disgruntled ex-GUIDING LIGHT fans will tell all B&B fans, "You've been warned!"; RN's first scenes w/ KKL and KZ air; Nelson raves, "Josh who? Look out Bridge fans - Bipple's on the move!"; some B&B fans will enjoy the chemistry between Newman and KKL, saying it's a breath of fresh air from the Bridge/Taylor/Nick monotony; SOD will name KZ and RN as joint "Performers of the Week," for Josh and Reva's Joy and Whipple's angry, emotional, tear-streaked confrontation over how Whipple abandoned his family years ago ("Straight outta Edward Albee!," boasts the rag); Jeva fans will be on the offensive, saying RN clearly shares more chemistry w/ Kimmy, that Brooke's a big-boobied ho, and that KKL needs to take her surfer girl ass back to acting school; Brooke fans will be like, "[!@#$%^&*] off, KKL was here long before Kim was, she'll be here long after Kim's put on recurring, and Susan Flannery's a better actress anyway!"; everyone else (who otherwise couldn't care less) will hate KZ and RN for "eating" B&B, and their fans for turning every single B&B-related message board and thread into a Jeva pep rally; Brad's ADHD will act up again after awhile; Kim will be placed on recurring; Ridge will remind Brooke, onscreen, "We belong together, Logan, we always have"; Whipple and Brooke will break up; Whipple will hook up with Taylor; and Kim/Joy will somehow manage to snatch Forrester away from everyone, tossing Taylor out on her ear, until another cockamamie plot twist results in the company falling into the janitor's hands.

Frankly, I'd rather we just avoid all that, wouldn't you agree?

Well hasn't there been talk of SF's retirement for years now? I remember one interview where she said it was definitely happening, sooner than later. No doubt B&B's going to be one of the last soaps standing, should Flannery's departure come, I could see them trying to be proactive/soften the blow by working Zimmer into the show. I would also hope that BB realizes that while KZ has her fans, she certainly is not everyone's cup of tea. She in particular is the kind of actress who will make many fans feel like she is plowing onto their show like Godzilla.
