Honestly, tribute or not, ABC would have some nerve asking CBS to borrow Peter Bergman when they wouldn't let anyone go over for GL regardless of schedule. I know a 70 year old soap isn't as serious as a persons death, but I'm sure it pissed them off enough. Anyway, it's good to have Nina back in an actual acting capacity as opposed to that interview 40th episode. Hopefully this is good. I wonder what will happen with Petey.

Well as long as they don't give Nina a corny line about Cliff being on business in Genoa City à la Liza living in Springfield during AMC's 25th.

They have got to ask Daniel Kennedy back for the episode, there's no decent way around that. Petey needs to be at his father's funeral, and this isn't the occasion to spring on a recast.

I imagine they will cast Petey with an LA based actor for the funeral episodes, and then we will never see him again. Daniel Kennedy was a real gem and I'll never understand why AMC tossed him aside like some hair model.... oh yeah... they keep those don't they?

Made me really mad because it seemed that Daniel would have made the move to LA.

I don't know if he graduated, but I'm pretty sure that I read he went to Juilliard, probably around the same time as Finn Wittrock actually. But I believe he was taking real estate courses so he could pay the bills when acting work is light.

I don't think so either, considering that All My Children and Y&R compete against each other in some markets. Also, ABC didn't allow Jerry ver Dorn to make an appearance on Guiding Light's last show, so I don't think CBS would allow Bergman to visit his old stomping grounds. Although, that could've been more of a P&G vs. ABC thing rather than a CBS vs ABC thing. However, we often do hear those rumors about how Julie Hanan Carruthers and Barbara Bloom being bff, so you never know....

I read that he wanted to go back to college, however I'm sure if he was offered a contract he would've delayed school to move to Los Angeles.

    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.
