I just saw the announcement for this. Apparently, it was a rights/money issue. So glad they'll continue. I have the entire series but will definitely be buying the DVDs as they are released!

Dorothy Malone (Constance) has passed away.

Just watched an episode last night where Constance and Allison go shopping for maternity clothes.

 

Such an elegant, classy presence on PP.

I thought this was nice of Mia Farrow.

 

 

That was a very sweet tribute by Mia, and it's nice to know that she hasn't forgotten her TV roots.

I'm currently in 1966 ,just watched Steven and Betty's wedding. Glad we've moved on from Rodney's trial as it really dragged.

 

Looking forward to seeing Ann Howard and how this story plays out.

The drumbeat after each scene, though, is ridiculous.  It's like they thought PP was a comedy.

That's another interesting story. I'm really in the mood to watch this entire series again. It petered out in the last season after Dorothy malone was fired, but the first few years in particular were quite well done.

They've already announced the Part 4 DVD,  out June 26! Here's the TVShowsOnDVD announcement too. I hope they keep this pace up!

Just started to watch the series... After watching 10 episodes, I can see why this took off.... well written characters, lots of character driven stories.. and I can't believe that Betty was going to be killed off so early when she's fascinating to watch.. neither good nor bad.
