Oh do I ever agree with you. Marj had some weird eye work after her run on AMC and within the timeframe of her last stint on GL. She really made it look like blinking could be painful.

Speaking of GL...Miss Crystal Hunt has had quite a few nose jobs and it seems like she's hell bent on overhauling her face.

She does seem to be going overboard on the botox. I've heard that she denies using collagen which I actually can believe given that her lips have always been pretty big.

Did Robin Christopher ever get any work done? I heard she once said she wouldn't rule out plastic surgery but she seemed to be aging pretty naturally when she left GH.

I agree. That nose does not look natural at all.

I don't think that is much of a rumor because as an avid Michael fan I have noticed that for years. He seems to have thinning hair and is not bald. I don't really think he hides it all that much in public either because on appearances he often appears with his thinning hair. His hair looks good on the show so whatever he uses matches well.

I just don't see much of a change based on plastic surgery. I think if he put on a few more pounds his face would look fuller. I love CLB and TEB but I think they have both become too thin these past couple years, and if they put on the weight they had when they shot the Lauren and Michael wedding they would look younger. Although both look great in my book. I guess as you age it really is you keep the body or the face.

Hardly anything about Crystal Hunt is natural, if you ask me.

I wonder if there's ever been an actor whose "work" was so natural-looking that people were shocked to learn about it "after the fact," so to speak.

What about Susan Haskell? I've seen her take a lot of flack on the boards for her teeth and there seems to be something off about her jawline.

*Raises hand* As someone who just dumped almost five grand on Lumineers, I have to say I LOVE them. I can't imagine what a boost they must be to someone in the business.

Awesome! So you're happy with your Lumineers? That's great to hear. I've heard conflicting reports, I've looked into them myself as I'm tired of bleaching, and they'd correct some (admittedly minor) things about the shape of my teeth that I don't like. I just don't want my teeth to walk into the room before I do, you naw mean? :D But yeah, I thought Pelphey may have gotten them when I saw a picture of him smiling a while back.

Lauren Koslow's nostrils seem much larger than they used to be. I'm pretty sure her face has been whittled on.

Does Crystal Hunt look any different than she did on GL in the early '00s, aside from being a little older?

Robin Strasser had Lasik and she really had a time with it, she talked about all of the difficulties she was having on her hotline. I heard Kathy Griffin(ith?) talking about it on some talk show, she had problems too (halos/poor night vision and such).

    • Ashley just wants to schtup Andre. She needed to create a big meltdown in order to get rid of Derek and feel no guilt. Doug needed to lay Joey out on the floor. He needs to get some courage and beat Joey down to the ground. Kat turning down a date with Tomas to see if Eva was locked up is a sign she's going to lose him. Even without Eva in the picture she was going to have problems. The way she talked to him when he bumped into her and she didn't know it was him seemed to be a red flag too. Leslie has revealed a whole lot of the truth on her own. Without her making all those comments to Kat she wouldn't have ended up at the police station.
    • Do we think Shelley Curtis is the director KM said was brought out of retirement to help them set up the production side of BTG?
    • TBH the only soap I remotely liked Cady on was ATWT   I dunno WTH she's doing with Pamela on this show but it's cringe beyond words
    • Kelli Giddish (Di Henry, AMC) has been reinstated as a regular in her popular role on Law & Order: SVU after a few seasons off.
    • I really like Paul Telfer a lot.   But I loathe Xander!

) Anyways... I did really feel disgusted by Eurovision this year and I doubt I'll watch this horrific musical torture in the future. My ears and my psyche will not survive.
    • Regarding the mobster storyline: The scripts, the cardroom set, and the writing for Joey -- are all terrible. They seem to be writing a realistic depiction of compulsive gambling as an addiction, showing that it pops into his head all the time -- it has become hardwired into his brain.  The APA (American Psychological Association) describes compulsive gambling as having a similar effect on the physical brain as drug and alcohol addiction. https://www.apa.org/monitor/2023/07/how-gambling-affects-the-brain I think Jason Graham (Doug) is doing an adequate job playing Doug as a compulsive gambler, with the thoughts/urges coming into his head all the time, and being unable to stop. However, the cardroom set is awful and the mobster storyline is a bad cliché, so it's all so uninteresting to watch. I think Mr. Graham is doing the best he can with the crap they gave him to work with. If anyone reading or watching has a gambling issue, check out Gamblers Anonymous.  They have many types of meetings -- in-person, online, video, audio, etc.  They also have resources for friends/family of compulsive gamblers.
    • Today was painful (especially for Philip).  I still feel for Xander. He was clear he was happy sharing and working with Philip. It's just one more betrayal from someone he loved. Going back to last year when he found out about Victor and Fiona, then Alex and Philip. He forgave and tried. Then Philip went behind his back again. He's been walking on the edge for weeks. This is a man who was abused, neglected and has never had any therapy for his horrific past. He has zero coping skills because he's never learned them. I hate this but I refuse to hate Xander
