Stacey pouring water on the floor. LMAO!!!. I bet boneheaded Rex will fall for it too!

Today was pretty good, except for Todd and Tea's usual boringness. I could actually tolerate Starr and Danielle today.

The courtroom scenes were great. Lowell ducking behind John was hysterical! Friggin coward.

Wait, what did I miss? My viewing has been spotty this past few. If anything, wouldn't Stacy be crossing her legs real tight to keep the baby in for an extra few weeks? What's she going for trying to have this baby early and is there a stunt baby waiting in the wings?

Stacy needs to have the baby by the 14th for Rex to think it's his because it's actual due date is too late. Stacy is trying to get Schuyler to get her a drug to induce labor and he's waffling. She wants her baby NOW so she poured water on the floor, then stood over it while she yelled to Rex. When her ran to her she said her water broke. (lol).. I think she is hoping that while at the hospital she can make Schuyler give her the drug then.

Thank you! Oh right, I just mixed myself up with the due date stuff. I agree I thought it would have been more *realistic* if she wet her crotch and down her leg (and, um, *dirtied up* the water a little) but figured that might be too much for daytime.

She is obviously a sick individual without redemption if she'd endanger her unborn child like that.

Today was a terrible episode.

Todd and Téa and anything about them are always automatically boring/stupid/useless. But add on to that John crap and the boring Stacy/Rex scenes mixed with the ridiculousness of the Mitch stuff and I am shocked I was able to physically get through it at all.

What was all that from Blair about how much Tea has always loved Starr? Not even a year ago, Tea was gleefully manipulating Starr into getting the charges against Todd dropped after Todd was going to tell her her baby was dead and run off happily ever after with Marty.

The holy headcase strikes again.

What happened to the bad ass Lowell today, hiding behind McBain as pathetic as it was, it did make me LOL.

As sick and twisted as Mitch Laurence is, and as campy as those scenes were, I couldn't turn away. To bad Nurse Charles is having seconds thoughts NOW. I just wish Charlie would change his mind.

    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archivedcopy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
    • I felt for Ted early on but as the story unfolded it has changed my opinion on him. To know he was cheating while his wife was struggling to give him a baby is a lot to deal with. Plus, this happened ages ago and still he's paying Leslie off and threatening her to leave town.  What really caused me to lose him in this episode was how even though he was busted, he still refused to take responsibility and come clean and the way he talked to Martin and Eva was terrible. To tell Smitty he better get Martin away from him when that is his SON who he used to cover up his affair? That is true dog behavior. Ted seems upset he got caught but I'm not seeing the remorse I would need to want Nicole to forgive him. I'm curious how I'll feel after Ted gets to talk to Nicole but I need him to fix it with the rest of the family as well.
