Members Cat
OMG, all the talk about Tricia literally makes me salivate. She was one of those psychos that in a weird way, you couldn't help feeling sorry for. Sabryn Genet was a real find. Her final scene with Rick Hearst in the looney bin, "hugging" Matt... and the doctors looking at her through the two-way mirror, watching her hug thin air? I cried more then than when Ryan actually croaked.
Members DaytimeFan
Oh Mark...how could you not love the Chancellor mansion storyline? It was delicious and lasted for nearly a year! It was such a clever use of history...good lord that ranks up there as one of my favorite storylines on any soap. I'd also add that Jill's Meltdown at Kay's Party was one of Jess Walton's best scenes. Alden was the last HW who wrote for Walton and Jill with dignity and respect for talent. Ain't that the truth. Members DaytimeFan
And remember New Year's when she slapped Tony and then pulled him close and made out with him?! And then, of course, she mowed him over (accidentally). Tricia was soooooo batsh*t crazy and yet I totally felt sorry for her.

Members YRBB
I loved the Tony/Tricia kiss... one of the greatest Alden moments. It was a wonderful culmination of a year of story. God, but she really wanted him.

Members Cat
I just realized that you are the one who posted the NYE party on YouTube! Thank you! That kiss/attack was... I don't even have the words. It's like Tricia was going to spontaneously combast if she didn't touch him. Remember when Tony was played by Nick Scotti? Y&R was stacked with hotties back in the 90s. Members YRBB
Oh sorry for the confusion but that isn't me. It is somebody else (I guess our names are close enough).... I have another account. I do have this whole episode on tape, though... but I'm afraid I can't post it. Oh yes, it was.
Members Cat
This has nothing to do with anything being discussed here, but I just thought I would post the scene where Whore-Hair Jill and Kay confront a paralized David Kimble in hospital, and Whore-Hair Jill gives David her patented crushed-balls test. David's inner whimper of pain is <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4w4Uqcznn0&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4w4Uqcznn0&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4w4Uqcznn0&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Members dm.
Just a little warning - maybe you ought to stop talking about Tricia - MAB might bring her back and hack her up as well.

Members lovely_m
For some reason I imagine Amelia Heinlie's Victoria being Tricia in disguise. She's trying to make everyone see Victoria as so usless that they won't care when she does decide to kill her off.
Members MarkH
Sigh. You wish. Truly, at the time, the pure contrivance of it took me out of the story. Oh, I laughed at the catfight and Shirley the maid and all the rest of it. I enjoyed the actresses...but I just felt that writing an Odd Couple story for them was so far beneath the really goosebump-inducing rivalries of ages past. WLS this week posted a rare Kay-Deborah Adair scene (yup, my favorite Jill). And in it, Kay goes to the Foster house and threatens to reveal Jill's true nature to John. And even for those two, the hate-chemistry was palpable and totally riveting. I missed that kind of story, and I didn't find tussling over that house to be of the same caliber. Maybe "hate" is too strong a word...but if you asked me for my top 10 tales on this show--or even top 20--I doubt this one would make it to my list. Yes, crazy Tricia was entertaining. But I'm not saying another word, because I'm terrified that there is another blonde whose name might be invoked...and that terrifies me. Unlike Tricia, that one has too many potential connections still left on the canvas.
