I dont get why no one at the hospital suggest she go see a shrink. Public emotional meltdowns like that at work arent normal. The girl is clearly a mess but instead they let her go on and be with patients. Where is Lainey? Is she still on the show?

And she cracks up from everyone finding out she had an affair. funny how her kid getting kidnapped and even her rape didn't push her over the edge but cheating on Lucky and being outed does.

Liz's "breakdown" is to give her "a get out of jail free" card for the affair. She and Lucky will be back together in a couple months because Guza loves to redo couples over and over again.

Redo couples? This canvas is so stale and the new couples they have tried(Lulu and her 50 pairings in 4 years), Liz and Nik have all been either dull or putrid.

This show used to be able to create decent pairings and write romance to an extent. I may not have liked them all but they seemed to have some popular pairings for a time. Liz/Lucky, Jason/Sam, Nikolas/Emily, Ric/Alexis and add Robin/Patrick into the mix. What the crap has happened? And Jason and Sam are as dull as dirt now. They can't organically grow couples anymore. This Dante/Lulu pairng is a prime example. Someone please explain when these 2 fell in love to the point where Dante wants her to go on the run with him if he leaves.

Would the show really go there? I've heard two different things, either she tries to kill herself or she's just so distraught she has an accident and Lucky finds her. I guess we'll see, but I'm starting to doubt that she tries to actively kill herself. It seems like daytime tries to avoid that scenario.

There are advocacy groups out there that discourage TV suicides claiming that depicting suicide on TV causes people who are on the edge to really do it. Kind of like validating their suicidal feelings. I guess well see which way this goes soon enough. It's supposed to happen around Valentine's Day, which is the time Lucky found Liz the first time and when they had their "permanent lock" chapel scenes as well. *RME*

Guza was vague. He did mention that we should remember what happened on that V'Day. I think that Lucky will find Liz crawling in the snow after she has another conveniently timed meltdown. Guza was quite happy that with JJ back that they can draw on these memories. He is a weird person and not in a good way.
