You get the sense that you're supposed to ignore what happened before their reign of terror and believe the crap they're feeding you, no matter what these characters are and have done in the past. JT was in one too, but at least the color was flattering to him. I don't the retro hipster/college professor in midlife crisis they push on Nick. His hair looks like a Wendy's cone melted.
