Oh why did you have to bring that tragedy up? I placed that horrid pairing WAY back in the depths of my mind along with Marina/Mallet too. AM/Marina pairing was along the lines of Craig/Dani ... Just nasty!

And I thought Guiding Light was clear that they would not be bringing Cassie back -- that Cassie's story had come to an end when Nicole Forrester left and there was no purpose bringing the character back.

Laura Wright was contacted about if she wanted to come back, and in the press she said ABC would not let her. This doesn't mean she was interested in coming back, just that she wasn't allowed to contractually.

I don't believe bringing back Hope was ever on their radar, unfortunately. It probably would have required too much back story to be explained, and they probably didn't have enough time to go there with the little time they had left.

Denise Pence has her own Youtube channel. She has put up two clips where she talks about her time on GL, and several clips. I really don't think the clip she says is 1977 is right (I'm pretty sure that's 1979), but I guess that's up to her.

I could have seen her on other soaps too. Maybe she didn't want to be on another one.
