I hate Spinelli with a passion and Spinelli with Maxie even more, but I know quite a few offline fans who love Spinelli. I don't think that it means that they are in the majority. The network must be convinced that he is majorly popular the way that the annoying character gets all that airtime.

True. I have never gotten it.

I tend to range from ambivalent to dislike with Liz. Nikolas was ruined in my eyes by his affair with Courtney because Emily could not getting over being raped quick enough. It does not help that TC looks perpetually bored.

Liz and the Pillsbury Dough Boy were so pathetic doing it, I could not find the energy care. It is only in the scenes with Lucky, do I get ticked off at Liz. The therapy session with Lucky was the worse. All she had to do is tell Lucky that she wanted to take a break. I hope Guza is true to form does not give Lucky much reaction to finding out about Liz and Nikolas. It looks like Lucky may be getting involved with the mob situation. Hopefully, that gets him some airtime away from Liz and Nikolas.

I wonder what happens next with Rebecca. She will be furious when she finds out the truth about Nikolas. I would not be surprised if she is pregnant. Better her than Liz for sure.

They really did replace Sam as the town slut and gave the role to Liz =\

I like TC & RH's chemistry, but I don't like the twist in the storyline when Liz agreed to marry Lucky after sleeping with Nikolas. I just want Liz/Jason.. Damn you Frons & your love affair with JaSPam!!!!!!

Chemistry never superceeds story for me at all and this story is horrid. I don't find either character the least bit rootable or sympathetic. They actually deserve each other. I hope this pairing crashes and burns. Rebecca the con artist and Ethan are coming out the most rootable characters in this and Lucky is being written again as the story buffoon. It's lame and tiring especially after seeing Liz in the same story with Jason for 2 years. And yeah I like Sam but hate Jasam. Liz is more than welcome to Jason.

The only time I have ever enjoyed Nikolas was early on with Genie. His stuff with Stephan Nichols and JOnathan Jackson I really enjoyed. TC sucks at romance but I did like Coltin Scott's version of Nikolas with Marissa Ramirez as Gia. But even that got crappy towards the end.

And death to Spixie. This pairing had turned one of my favorite characters Maxie into a character I detest also.

Repeats of TPIR are being shown opposite GH in my area so I flipped back and forth. I miss Bob, but Drew Carey is not that bad as a host or at least he is better than the last time I watched. This African American women in this red hat won a car. She was so happy. I could not stop laughing. Reminded me of how much I love watching TPIR.

Thank goodness Lucky did not sleep with Liz. We are spared a WTD story. Nikolas is so hypocritical. He inherited a "loyalty gene?" Clearly, it has been mutated into a traitorous Cassadine gene. Nikolas giving Ethan money to take Rebecca away is so stupid. All he has to do is break up with her to make her go away.

After that speech Dante gave Olivia about the mob, he turns around and hems and haws about giving Sonny up to Ronnie. Not a surprise. Gah. Someone please send Sonny to prison or kill him. I'll take either one.

I am really surprised there was no commentary on the last couple of days with the lead up to the wedding. John J York has been the star of the show practically as the wedding seemed to be all about Mac and his comedic seething. Then today that dream sequence hit every right note from every actor from Mac being a blithering idiot out of the home to Lulu's air kisses, to Jason telling Spin they have to go because there are people waiting to die. And then the comedy ended and Kisten Storms stepped up to deliver a multi faceted performance touching on Maxie's sad side, and then finally Bradford Anderson got his moment to shine at the altar. It was just good all around. GH should have brought back Kristina Wagner, Jackie Zeman and June Lockhart, but aside from that the entire episode was almost pitch perfect.

GH must have finally done it to me because my cynicism was at full blast. I was not impressed or moved, only ticked off that I had to watch one of the more annoying couples that I have ever had to endure getting all this attention. JJY has some nice comic timing and all I could think looking at him is what a waste. GH wastes everything. Whatever. Days is better.

    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
