AMC: The Moving/Not Moving Thread

I'm not so sure about that.

They were giving relocation costs to the movers. So, especially for marquee players, I would be shocked if they didn't offer a "travel allowance" or something like that.

I would hope so. I definitely remember reading that the stars would have their own costs but there's been so much "reported" around this move that I hope that's not true.

I'm pretty sure they are compensated in some way. I don't think a lot of these actors would go otherwise. I think the veterans deserve at least that.

I think all the actors who committed to staying with the show deserve that, "veterans" or not. It wasn't their choice.

Chrishell Stause (Amanda) said on her Twitter that she is moving to L.A., but not signing a new contract with AMC.

Susan Lucci and Vincent Irizarry are commuting. I believe David Canary is also commuting.

If AMC were smart, and they aren't so they probably won't even think of this...then they pair Erica up with Adam or David and make it so that another two actors can have their scenes scheduled in a block, as mentioned above. They'd be smart to do that with as many of the male/female commuters as they can. Plus, they could shake up the show a lot if there end up being more commuting then we know.

Yes, yes!

I wonder why Shannon Kane isn't listed in the official press release. I'm assuming that was just an oversight?

And I guess we know that the new character Bailey doesn't last long. As well as BethAnn Bonner's character.

In the redundant words of Sherri Shepherd, "and also, too," we have to remember that all of this is is brand new. Who knows how the commuting cast might feel after six months of being in LA? Right now, everyone is flying blind. I'm sure that this is the first time in almost all of their careers that the entire production they're currently working on up and moved to a completely different location in the middle of the production season. Not only that, they have no idea exactly what's out there and how this is going to work. I'm sure once they all get acclimated to the new regime, they'll be able to re-think certain things.

Since the list is going in alphabetical order, wouldn't it be funny if whoever was putting the list together saw "Kane" and thought it was referring to Erica Kane and was like "Susan Lucci's already on this list... DELETE!"

Now that we know that Thorsten is not going, would the show make Zach Stuart's killer?

It would definitely explain how certain he was Kendall didn't do it, and why he's trying to pin it on Annie.

He would make the most sense. He had motive and he's killed before (Josh). Pratt, the killer is staring straight at you. Pull the trigger and make Zach the killer. Think of those goodbye scenes between Kendall and Zach as he's hauled off to prison. Just do it already. :D

Good lord that just shows you how horrible the writing is if they actually go this route. Waiting to see who will stay or leave in order to determine the outcome of a murder story

Just read that Crishelle is leaving as well
