I don't think we are supposed to buy them. This is a marriage on the rocks. Nick doesn't want to give up, but his heart isn't into it and Phyllis knows that. She pretty much always looks pissed.

Nick is doing this because of the kid. Who wants a wife that has the need to control everything a man does? His business, his friendships, his family relationships...... she should know by know that Nick likes to nibble on various things, not just stay on one.

After doing it with Nick, Jack and Billy they should find someone new?

Yep.

TPTB have gotta move Jack & Phyllis totally away from Nick & Sharon.

I know, I was just mentioning the number of men she would go through in such a short time.

Nick the Nibbler.......

I am still so irritated by the fact that the writers chose to make Sharon pregnant. They still could have played all the beats of betrayal (Billy) and other stuff without making her pregnant. It seems as if everything has to result in a pregnancy. Last year we had Sabrina, Chloe, Lily and Ashley getting pregnant and this year we already have Ashley. Plus they aren't even mentioning Sharon's kleptomania and sleeping around.

So now we need to add another thing to the list of things that should take a long absence: doppelgangers, deaths and pregnancies.

Maybe they're setting up a baby switch storyline, LOL.

No no. They need to move Jack and Sharon totally away from Nick and Phyllis :)

All I can say is that many gay actors have convinced the hell out of me. And Michael C. Hall sure had me convinced David was gay on Six Feet Under. I think anyone who is a mediocre actor that basically just plays themselves in these various situations will not be convincing. But those people who are good character actors make it happen.

Too bad Phillip can't be bi. I'm all for whatever brings on the drama and I think a bi character could really ramp it up big time. Although really Adam is my first choice for this. Stringing along both Heather and Rafe as someone else suggested. I suppose that may be too racy for daytime, but it's too bad because daytime is really the perfect setting to flesh out that kind of scandalous character.

I don't think stringing along Heather and Rafe would mean Adam is bisexual. I'd consider him a straight man who is using people to get what he wants. I'm not sure how scandalous it would be with Rafe because aside from a few kisses or some hand-holding or face-touching, I doubt we're going to get any big sexual passion with men on soaps.

I think there's room for stories about characters who actually are bisexual, but TV, even movies, usually don't want to delve into the topic.

No baby switches, please. :)

Just to add my comment RE: Daniel. I was first convinced it would be some undercover job that Daniel would have to go away for, but it turns out it's just forging a painting, so it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Sure, it's stupid that the FBI couldn't find a forger that would do the job, but whatever. I'm okay with it.

We probably did, but I doubt that footage exists today, so they could get away with the rewrite without visual contradiction.

Chances are, the footage of PC3's delivery exists in the Bell vaults. They're pretty good about holding onto old episodes.

Every episode of Y&R still exits.

I don't mind all amnesia stories but I think this time probably wouldn't be the best idea, because of the part where he was involved with foisting Cane on the family.

But what if PC3, as an amnesiac, discovered he belonged to this family, but sent Cane in his stead, because he didn't know whether he could trust them? ;)

Don't lie Mark, you know you'd love that.

I can't speak for Mark, but I am always down for a good baby-switch story.

I'm not joking.

Which means that my hope that they will release them one day cannot die!

Don't burst my bubble.

Me too. I love all the cheesy soap story staples. And even though most Y&R fans seem to hate back from the dead stories, I even love those. As long as they aren't happening one a year.

Yes, but often, they're horribly executed and this end up being convoluted messes.

We'll never get another Jenny Wolek/Katrina Karr baby switch.

And don't get me started on that horrific AMC/OLTL baby switch.

Don't hold your breath. SONY is HORRIBLE when it comes to releasing their primetime shows, I can't even begin to fathom them releasing anything of Y&R or DAYS.
