I think Nikolas and Elizabeth are good together. I'm a true Liz and Jason fan, but for some reason TPTB despise them.

I'm so suspicious about Claudia's pregnancy. It just came on all of the sudden.

How stupid was that scene with Jason and Sam? Seriously....

If you haven't seen my signature line and you are wondering when the GH episode count will be up for April, it is going to be late. I'm not sure when it will go up because I JUST watched Monday's episode today.

I LOVE IT!

Furthermore i wish the show had gone here instead of Liason, not only because Liason fans got screwed over but also because it woulda been much better drama if Liz & Nik had grown closer during Lucky's addiction and woulda made much more since for Lulu to keep secret from Lucky about him not being the baby daddy if her other brother was.

Besides... Becky & Tyler? Sexy.

That would have been a great story. Especially since I like the bro chemistry between GV and TC whenever GH deign to show them together. It would have taken their relationship back to the days when Nikolas first appeared on the show.

And, yes. Becky Herbst would look beautiful with anybody! I always thought, when Nikolas was confiding in Liz over his love troubles with Emily back during then Whatshisname Bishop SL, that Lik had this spark that I would have much preferred to watch than all that Garden of Love nonsense. I still don't understand why GH, at a time when it is shedding viewers, would mess with Liaison, though. They spent two YEARS building that couple up (and ruining some other characters in the process) before breaking them up in a day, and their fanbase is pretty vocal. They waited a decade for this.

Oh! Another burgeoning friendship I liked was Sam and Liz. Weird, I know, but I loved when they were fighting off the Russian mob in that cabin. Just the two of them, building a tent for Cameron and Jake to hide in and then grabbing whatever makeshift weapons they could lay their hands on.

Fully agree. And the conflict it would have provided for everyone - liz and nik, lucky, lulu, luke, alexis, emily, hell even monica, jason, etc...

I really thought they were headed to Liz/Nik around the train crash.

And i like Sam & Liz as women who dont really like eachother, but kind of have a certin level of respect for eachother. Adult frenemies if you will.

Also.... I hate what GH did to my Liason loving heart. I am not gonna say them togeher = ratings because.. well im not that crazy ... but i do think the show toying with the audience and screwing them over did hurt. As did many many other things...

Saw today's show.

Love that the show may be setting GH fans up for Liz/Patrick. They look cute together.

I love this interesting "triangle" between Olivia/Sonny/Claudia. Too bad it's just superficial, like the rest of GH these days.

And Spinelli must die. Seriously, I want him to be the next mob casualty. He just absolutely annoys me and never in a million years would slutty Maxie Jones be interested in someone as dippy as Spinelli.

You mean you don't enjoy seeing Spinelli make sad faces? It's the highlight of my viewing year.

Only in Guzaland would this mess be the leading man. I think even the Big Bang Theory guys would cringe.

What is going on with Liz? Who are the writers putting her with? Patrick, Nikolas or Lucky? Ive read online about them pushing her with Patrick, but I saw a bit today and heard some talk about her kissing Nikolas a few times and it seems as if she and Lucky arent completely done. Whats happening here?

I agree, well up to the Maxie not being into Spinelli just because he isnt some supermodel, esp since the story has always been Maxie isnt attracted to Spinelli. She is however, in love with him. He is the first person, aside from her family, to accept her for her. Sure he pushed her to become a better person but he didnt try to change her, for the most part. She also seen though his spinelli speak and social outcast exterior. They were a great little duo up until the show was aware of it and started to try.

But i do want him to die now, even if i do have a spinmax banner, i am all for JoMax or matt & maxie. or maxie and anyone but spinelli... yes even you Jason! LOL.

(I just love the picture in my banner)

I would say they are testing the waters and trying things out and whatnot.. but this is GH... Liz/Patrick was never the plan, that was worried Scrubs fans.... Liz/Nik is faking it... Liz/Lucky is where its headed because thats what they always do.

yup.

Yesterday's episode was okay. They should have given more time to the Lucky/Rebecca flirtation because they are good together. Liz suddenly wanting Lucky back is hard to believe, but it is better than her being inserted in Patrick and Robin's life. Since his skin turned orange and his face got swollen, I do not find Tyler Christopher attractive any more.

I am surprised by how much I liked Jason and Sam's conversation. It will take some real convincing that Mr. Hold a Grudge can forgive and fall in love with Sam again. We'll see.

Spinelli needs to go back to being Jason's sidekick. He is no romantic leading man and he turns Maxie into screeching banshee. I have seen this Sonny and his harem story before and didn't like the first time around.

The good thing is still no mob story or violence. Let's see how long this lasts.

    • They weren't in town, but Fletcher worked at the paper (and we saw anniversary Journal headlines for the 50th, although I don't remember if Roger was one of them), and I'd think Alex would have at least heard of him due to the damage he did to Spaulding only a few years before her return to the fold. I know I have to remember it's not real life, of course.
    • YES. The videos being uploaded to Spauldingfield are almost to the point where Alan is reintroduced. They're already talking about the guy he pretends to be, and yes, he returns at a masked ball. In fact, that masked ball is almost beat for beat the same as the masked ball where Alex was introduced! Get a new schtick. Before the Kobe era, that's pretty much what they did. Characters would just show up. Maybe other characters would talk about them for a while--the Chamberlains, Tony, Maureen, Andy, Kelly, Carrie--but then they would just appear. When Hope came back, she simply knocked on Bert's door and said something like, "Hi, Grandma, I'm home again." No particular fanfare. Sometimes it would be a bit dramatic--Jennifer and Morgan were introduced when Mike accidentally crashed into their car, for instance, and Alan and Elizabeth were introduced through Jackie's flashbacks when she was remembering giving up Phillip for adoption. Nola was involved in the Roger return. Roger's return in 1980 was very dramatic, but in a way that made total sense. He was trying to kidnap a child, so dressing up as a clown did not seem crazy. The mask bit was not only silly, it didn't even make sense. Alex never knew him, so there was no reason for him to be masked in front of her. Yeah, she knew OF him, but there's that phenomenon called cognetive dissonance. If you see someone outside of an expected situation, you probably won't recognize them, especially if you never met them in person and think they're dead. I bet a CIA spook like Roger would be familiar with that concept. And he didn't have to be skulking around SF for months. Again, I will cut Long a little slack--it was not her idea to bring back Roger, she was told to do it. She never wrote for the character. It was something that was not planned. They originally went to Zaslow to offer him the role of Alan. He, of course, turned them down because that was a ridiculous idea, but then he suggested coming back as Roger. At such short notice, it's not strange his return was not handled well.
    • Eh...but neither had been in town. Know the name Roger Thorpe? Sure. But Alex would have gone crazy trying to memorize all of Alan's co-conspirators/lovers/wives and Fletch didn't even know Roger/Adam was on the island, IIRC. But who knew or should've known each other is always a little dicey when people come back to town.
    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
