(BANG) - Beyoncé Knowles is planning to marry fiancé Jay-Z next summer, according to reports.

The sexy star and her rapper boyfriend have begun planning their Caribbean wedding day - but are determined to keep the details a secret.

A source said: "It will be an intimate wedding with just close friends and family and preparations are underway.

"The couple don't want the day to turn into a media circus. So they are keeping all details as secret as they can."

Meanwhile, the former Destiny's Child singer, who has dated rapper Jay-Z for three years, has said she finds it easy to keep her love life out of the spotlight.

The beautiful singer said: "Even in school I was private. It kept my name out of people's mouths.

"Not because I was ashamed or because I wasn't passionate about who I was dating, but because it seemed more pure, more sacred.

"When everyone in the world is talking about you, it makes things really hard. I'm just a regular woman."
