Actually, I think he's a great actor when he's in a SUPPORTING role. As a Lead, forget it, I've got Jack and Victor for that.

I would definitely agree with that. Michael and his whole flipping family became way to overexposed the last few years.

I love Michael both as a supporting role and a lead but when in the last year has he ever been a lead? To me the lead males of the show are Victor, Jack, and Nick.

He hasn't been a lead in the last year and that's why I don't have scorn for Christian LeBlanc. However, his episode count is still too high for my liking, I liked the role he played in the late 90s...it doesn't help that he's saddled with Kevin and Gloria who should just both be written out post haste!

You can definitely trace Jack F. Smith's downfall in part to the Baldwin/Fisher invasion, he had other problems, but he loved that family so much and basically set Latham up to make prop them at the expense of others. Then Latham dismantled the Abbott's, and used them to prop the Frisher-Baldwins (especially Gloria).

The thing that I like about now is that the Abbots and Newmans are CLEARLY the leading families on the show again. The Chancellor element as also quite strong once again. Even with the Baldwin-Fishers still on, it doesn't feel like they're dominating anything. They certainly aren't being propped anymore. Gloria isn't being painted as some saint who makes stupid decisions, she's being painted as the loon she really is.

The best thing Maria did this year was reestablish the Abbott family.

I agree. Contrary to most of you, I like the Baldwin / Fisher gang but they must not lead the show. The perfect dynamic is having the Newmans, Abbots and Chancellors as the lead families with the Baldwin/Fisher and Winters playing supporting.

Katherine and her old roommate there need to GET IT ON!

You can cut the sexual tension between those two with a knife!

Jump his bones Katherine! Right in front of the Christmas tree!

When was the last time poor Katherine saw some action? I think we are talking the early 90's with Sexy Rexy!

Oh, and Khalil is boring me to to tears today. I want Billy away from her NOW!

¿Cambié a Univison y no lo realicé? Apenas bromeando, un poco tuve gusto de él.

(thanks Altavista!)

I liked the end montage, though Heather looks all of 15 when she throws herself onto her bed and sobs.

I was so tickled hearing Victor speak Spanish.

Kay and her dude, that was the weakest under the mistletoe kiss ever. She side kissed him like his breath was bad.

I think seeing that guy go from rags to riches and start seeing the real Katherine Chancellor would be super interesting!!

I was thinking the exact same thing about the kiss..

Victor and the bartender/little girl in jail...

I love me some TGVN but this is just so whatever and I'm still creeped out by it from August or whenever Old Vic was whispering to that little girl.

Kay & Murphy = next to Daniel & Amber they are 2008's breakout star quality couple.

Maybe they were afraid their dentures would get swapped.

Jeanne Cooper said she was playing Katherine (who is without most of her memories, of course) somewhat uncomfortably, because even though Kay thinks she's Marge right now, she really has no idea who and what her identity is.

No, please don't saddle Kay down with Murphy just because they're both old. Okay, fine there may be more to them, but Murphy gives me the creeps! :o

Screw Victor. It's time to put the character to rest.

I hope MAB somehow intertwines Sharon/Nikki together again. These two were GREAT together, and then they just stopped sharing scenes.
