Members DeeeDee
Beltway liberals. They're hand waving GOP voter suppression tactics & blaming lower POC turnout on "identity politics."
Members Khan
Well. I knew this would happen. America really screwed the pooch on this one. Oh, well.
Members quartermainefan
Earlier in the season we had said it was no sure thing and with good reason. Everyone got sidetracked by the Access Hollywood tape to the point we forgot that the real story was Trump and Bernie and what that said. Plus, the country has a fear of women. So who should be ashamed of themselves: The 30% of the latino voters who voted for Trump All the republican women who voted for Trump If any group deserved to be the ones to end Trump's candidacy it was the latinos but it turns out one out of every three wants that wall I guess, or doesn't like muslims.
Members AdelaideCate007
So Australian TV is basically calling this for Trump- citing the AP- and are calling this the biggest and most frightening upset in the history of the modern world. The people on 7 News and Sky news are having meltdowns and my twitter feed is a mess between all the people I know personally and all the media. I feel like the whole world just got crushed.

Members Ms. Quartermaine
On the phone with Trump, right? I'm assuming official speech tomorrow. Maybe a statement posted right now?
Members AdelaideCate007
How did this even happen? I can't believe it. Also, I'm standing in my back lawn, which backs up onto a busy street and surf club/shop, and some dude just went out into the streets and shouted "[!@#$%^&*] You America" and get a lot of whoops and hollers from the people down on the street. The people of Sydney are with you guys!
Members quartermainefan
I think Trump's speech kind of shows one of the reasons why he won. He is a good speaker, a natural, and he talks like a real person. It's all nauseating, but he's good in front of a mic. So was Mussolini but that's another story.

Members NothinButAttitude
I can't believe we've gone from the Obamas to the Trumps. We've gone from the ultimate levels of classiness to the lowest of the low. A sexual assailant and a mail order bride/pin-up whore are our POTUS & FLOTUS. I can't...

Members AdelaideCate007
I'm surrounded by a lot of hate for America and I always try and at least defend it but how does anyone defend this. This is just.....beyond. And am I understanding right that the Republicans have control of everything now? So theoretically he'll be able to push through anything he wants? I feel like this is how the Hunger Games started.
Members Vee
Yes. It also means they have no excuse in two years, for the midterms.
Members ThePrinceOfSunspear
I'd like to say Im shocked but deep down I knew the minute he yelled "build the wall" and "Muslim ban" that he had tapped into something real. And of course at the end of the day we have to own that we as Democrats nominated a deeply flawed candidate who was universally despised by the media and nearly all Republicans and apparently enough "independents". God help us over the next 4 years. People want to act all shocked over Bills scandals but that will be nothing compared to Donald Trump in the Oval Office. I can't even begin to think how our foreign policy will change under this man or civil liberties under Attorney General Rudy Guilani. The effing Supreme Court.
Members NothinButAttitude
It is gonna take forever for the impending damage to the Supreme Court to be undone. Honestly, I just don't care for this country anymore. I truly don't...
