Less than a day after trying to send out his surrogates to quell the firestorm over Miss Universe, Trump begins tweeting in the early hours again:

 

He is taking massive heat and damage on this. This idiot is a gift to the Democratic Party that keeps on giving.

Yeah, that line is not flying at all, Carl. Nobody's buying that - except Mark Halperin, who whined that Clinton has had a week of positive press and Trump hasn't gotten a break, and muttered about Machado's 'past' while every panel on every show on MSNBC disgreed with him. The Morning Joe crew was just mocking Trump's latest morning tweets.

 

Politico on the fallout of the debate, and Trump's suicidal insistence on going after Bill and Monica. Good luck, old man!

 

Also, forgive me if we've posted this but it's been officially revealed - the Trump Foundation charity isn't even certified to function as a charity. It is nothing but an illegal money machine for Trump.

 

These Foundation stories from David Fahrenthold are catching major fire now in the mainstream and TV press, and you can bet Hillary is saving them and a lot of other people like Alicia Machado up for debate #2. If Trump shows.

Those tweets are perfect. He's completely incapable of restraint. He can't handle any criticism and he can't let anything go. I mean this loser stood up at a presidential debate and went back to his old feud with Rosie O'Donnell. He's incapable of self-control. I think that she may just be able to push him to a full psychotic break.

Peggy Noonan was on CBS This Morning saying that someone should bury Trump's phone (as if that will solve his issues) and blaming both candidates for the tone of this election cycle, which is the false equivalency argument (i.e. 'A pax on both your houses). She also blamed the media for the lack of seriousness during this election cycle, which I agree with.

 

Alicia Machado fills this post debate news cycle and in that clip, they are wondering who will fill the next? I'm speculating that it may be one of the small business vendors that Trump stiffed or one of the Trump U.  'teachers' who weren't certified to teach or grads who felt that they got little out of the so-called education they received at Trump U.

      What did you all think of Hogan/Patti compared to the stuff with Liza and Sonny? Did you buy anything about Sonny and Bela? Has a recast ever decentralized a character as much as Sherry's exit did with Liza? Or do you think that would have happened even if Sherry had stayed?

          I think the three comments pretty much summarize my thoughts. The green is not pleasant. I think I know where they were going with it, but it doesn't translate on screen.  The bar at Uptown is actually pretty good. It's my favorite part. I totally get it having an East Coast vibe. I used to frequent a place like it and while I wouldn't necessarily call it pretty...it was a bit Kitsch but it had a vibe. This place is lacking the vibe. I know it's not easy to hire extras, but even having a karaoke night in the background or live music would change the whole feel.  Vernon and Anita having breakfast there was a great idea. Another place besides the country club where they could talk. However, why were they using country club china at an establishment like Uptown. It just seems a bit confused. I don't understand what it's supposed to be.

      Add me to the list of people who like Tanisha Harper as Jordan I never understood any of the criticism of her, to be honest. She's gorgeous and she's solid in her role. Sounds like a soap staple to me.

      Leslie is extra but she's told the truth about what happened back then. They were in love, at least he led her to beleive they were. I never go the impression that she was crazy or a hot mess when they were involved. From the bits that we've heard, it seems more like she got bitter and jaded over the years but when they had their affair? She was all good   Ted shouldnt stress getting Eva anything. Like he just go her an apartment, no to mention a job. I think his continued attention and presence in her life mean more than material things he could buy   June definitely knows those kids. She was lying bc she doesnt want to answer what happened to said kids

      Tomlin's first stint was from May 1983 to March 1984 (11 months) when he left to become co head of AW. He lasts about six months the second time. But he' paired with John Whitesell this time and the show was a wreck after Mayer/Braxton's 6 months.
