Here in NC our state of Board of Elections Director said that votes here won't be finally tallied up until like either November 12th or 13th. In addition to the presidental race being too close to call here, so is the Senate race between Thom Tillis and Cal Cunningham (which I think that Cal could have won in an easier manner were it not for his cheating scandal.) Right now Thom is slightly ahead of Cal (and he's actually declared victory over him), but there are still 117,000 mail in ballots that need to be counted here:

Lauren Underwood looks like she is not going to pull out her re-election. I am sick over this. This is a woman who goto to congress and immediately started working on legislation and worked hard for her district. They voted in another rich lazy GOPer who has lost multiple races in Illinois Jim Oberweiss.

Again: Their numbers outfit is independent of the news division. In 2012, Karl Rove threw a fit when they called Ohio for Obama and attacked them live on air. Last night, the anchors demanded an explanation from them live on air. Their rep defended their call and has stood by it ever since. But whatever, don't believe me, google it.

The AP and Fox both called it, and both are very reputable. Many of the networks are notoriously anal-retentive and cautious. Fox's one saving grace is a very strong independent numbers unit. Many of the TV outlets are also very regularly behind the actual results. Last night they ran between 10 mins to literal hours late on stuff we had confirmed online long before. That's the reality of online media and polling today. Things have changed. You want to worry about it, go for it. You don't need to.

Meanwhile:

Georgia may wrap tonight.
