Members Juliajms
This just sums it all up. My mind just cannot accept this chaotic reality. It shouldn't seem that surprising since we've seen many societies melt down in a similar way throughout history (Germany, China, Cambodia, USSR the list goes on and on just in the last century). Still, so many people are going along with all the lies and insanity, I just don't understand it. I get that racism, greed, and religion are behind a lot of it, but still to just deny objective reality and the law to the extent that some of these Republicans are doing is just mind blowing to me.
Members Wendy
Bevin, the sore loser, looks to be readying a little coup of his own by way of the KY legislature. So much for democracy and the power of the vote! https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/06/us/bevin-kentucky-recanvass.html
Members Vee
They can try. Didn't work for Roy Moore.
Members Wendy
Roy Moore just wanted a recount, didn't he? This POS seems to want to use the legislature to fight his corrupt battle. In any case, I hope this fails.
Members DRW50
Speaking of Moore, it looks like Jeff Sessions is running for his old Senate seat. https://www.politico.com/news/2019/11/06/jeff-sessions-senate-alabama-000321 "stunning comeback" mentions tell you who the media already is rooting for, no surprise there. Doug Jones has done what he wanted with these two years, rather than worrying too much about triangulating, so I have to respect that, especially when I remember how many jeered him before the fact and insisted he would just be a Republican. I saw that Bill Gates can't even say he would support Elizabeth Warren over Trump. The attacks against her, on all sides, have ramped up heavily in the last few weeks. It's interesting to me that these attacks have not been thrown at Bernie. I'm guessing because many rich people know deep down he doesn't mean what he says and is just conning his followers. (I do think her decision to call Biden a Republican was cheap and needless, and I can't get upset when he insults her in response) I also saw that a dumbass senator from Louisiana went to one of Trump's hate rallies and went on about how much Nancy Pelosi "sucks." This senator being one that the media likes to go to for quotes and pass off as a heavyweight. The amount of support toothless wastes of space like this get for going into the gutter makes me sick. Speaking of sickness, Trump looked like a dehydrated Butterball. All the bile inside him has truly taken him over.
Members marceline
It might. If he pursues this until the end, it will end up being decided by members of the General Assembly which is made up entirely of Republicans. Let's be honest, they are going to try like hell steal this election and it could work. https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/06/politics/what-is-a-recanvass/index.html Edited November 7, 2019 by marceline

Members Chris B
Between that and stealing Kamala's voter data, Tom Steyer really needs to drop out. I wouldn't even do the next debate.
Members Khan
At the very least, he needs to start running as a Republican instead. Please register in order to view this content
Members JaneAusten
I still have no idea why he is running, but he reminds me of Schultz who thought being a billionaire qualifies him to be president and they can buy their way in. Even if he doesn't step out, he's going to get challenged in the next debate and he should. On a positive note regarding Kamala Harris this is kind of a big endorsement. https://www.essence.com/test/kamala-harris-endorsed-higher-heights/ And this is kind of a big deal in Nevada http://www.startribune.com/kamala-harris-gets-coveted-invite-from-powerful-nevada-union/564357992/ I am not counting her out yet.

Members JaneAusten
Ok now why is Bloomberg entering the race.. These people have all lost confidence in Biden I guess but Bloomberg ain't going to get the black vote. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/07/us/politics/michael-bloomberg-president-2020.html If a billionaire is going to run with limited experience(Well Bloomberg was mayor of NYC not South Bend) at least recruit Oprah for goodness sake.
Members DramatistDreamer
Elizabeth Warren has these billionaires coming out of the woodwork to try to fight her on Medicare 4 All. I may have to tune out this campaign until the primaries begin in earnest in the wintertime, some of these discussions feel like they are wasting my time and energy. A possible Bloomberg candidacy feels like a vanity run.
Members JaneAusten
I am not a M4All supporter generally, but if she is making them nervous that's frankly good from my perspective.
