Members DramatistDreamer
I read that the Republicans (Charles Grassley, chief among them) at first agreed then stalled on releasing this transcript, so Sen. Feinstein got fed up and decided to release it now.

Members Juliajms
That is depressing as f*ck. I can't believe he has over 1,000 days left to destroy our nation.

Members amybrickwallace
I don't see any candidates for governor of Ohio that I like...on either side of the aisle. Now Dennis Kucinich has thrown his hat in the ring. If he wins, for the sake of all us Ohioans I hope that his gubernatorial record will be better than his run as the mayor of Cleveland was. 😨😨😨😨😨 https://www.google.com/amp/fox8.com/2018/01/09/kucinich-makes-first-public-appearance-since-filing-paperwork-to-run-for-governor/amp/ Edited January 10, 2018 by amybrickwallace
Members marceline
He's not going to win. He'll wash out in the primary. Personally I'm really happy that my two favorite candidates - Richard Cordray and Betty Sutton - have decided to become running mates. I was hoping they would. I wasn't looking forward to having to choose between them.
Members amybrickwallace
What's your take on Judge Bill O'Neill? Would he make it far in the race if not for that now-infamous TMI FB post?

Members marceline
I'm not sure. He gives me Bernie Sanders vibes and as well documented in this thread, I don't consider that a plus. But, yeah, that creepy post was a bad way to break onto the scene.

Members DramatistDreamer
This article cites gerrymandering as the one advantage that the GOP has to hold onto but clearly this was written before the ruling in NC, which I don't think will be the last of its kind, IMO. Members DramatistDreamer
As a rejoinder to the article I previously posted about Republican retirements--it is now being said that Darrell Issa of CA is retiring.
