The thing I find absolutely terrifying about Trump is the sheer amount of military power he has at his disposal. It's like having a two year old in a room with a button that could destroy the world. Trump has the might of the world's largest military at his fingertips, but he clearly doesn't have the intellect that should go with that kind of power. I used to think that we could at least count on Congress to intervene if he tried to do something really crazy, but that was just fantasy. And I don't see anyone on the left justifying attacks in fact here in Chicago a man who was allegedly a Trump supporter was beaten on the south side by black youths months ago and the entire community here called them out on their actions. They were also arrested. That professor was arrested by the way, while a new congressional rep said "I'm sorry" after assaulting a reporter(an incident witnessed by a Fox News crew) and gets off because he's a mediocre white male billionaire. And the only GOPer calling it out was Mark Sanford believe it or not. I guess you have also missed the number of hate crimes that have increased mostly by white males by the way, ,including the murder of a man of Indian descent in Kansas who worked in the area, went to a bar for drinks, and was shot and killed because the white guy with a gun thought he was a muslim.
