There are some truly awful people in this country. I'm also reminded of the insults and conspiracy theories that the Newtown families have had to endure.

It's all so disgusting thinking about how these people are being treated. They cannot even get to try to mourn in peace and try to put their lives back together!

We have now entered the censorship part of this hellhole of an administration. The admin has FORBIDDEN the CDC to use the following words in any official documents for next year's budget:

 

Vulnerable

Entitlement

Diversity

Fetus

Transgender

Evidence-based

Science-based

It's not wrong in this case. These people have earned that hate. Not just the reps but the voters too. These people are looking to take everything for themselves and leave nothing for the rest of us. Historically, that doesn't work out well.

 

 

 

There was no reason for Chaffetz to step down, certainly not in the rushed fashion he did. He could've spent years protecting Trump but instead he ran shortly after a special counsel was named. TrumpRussia circles (which I admit has its fair share of conspiracy theorists) pretty much agrees that he got nailed early for Russian money and flipped in exchange for the chance to save face and quit. There's really no other logical explanation.

By the way, people know that Tillerson has done a complete 180 on North Korea, right? Just as I knew he would.

This administration has no coherent policy, the words that they vomit out are cheap, as their word means absolutely nothing.

 

One thing you can rely upon, is that Trump Inc. will hurl insults and start another food with one of the government's own agencies--he's back to the FBI now.

 

This is the man we're all supposed to regard with civility? Ha!

Apparently she blames the Democratic Congressional Committee's 'zero tolerance policy' for dropping out of the race.

So the Jared rumor was started by Russian bots. This was a misinformation effort to try and further discredit Mueller and drum up hope for those who want to see the investigation incorporate more. Remember whenever an indictment or plea has happened, it has been a shock with no warning ahead of time so be skeptical. There have been no leaks from Muellers team.

Unfortunately since the use of bots and misinformation clearly had an impact during the 2016 election, it is quickly becoming the "go to" tactic, particularly for rabid Trumpists.

I don't know how civic engagement will recover after this administration.

Yeah, this is disturbing. I imagine the CDC will lose a lot of their top people soon. What self respecting scientist will work under these conditions?

 

If and when sanity returns to our government checks and balances will have to be strengthened so that this kind of thing doesn't happen again.
