December 2, 200817 yr Member Brad also did an EVIL thing (luring David Chow back to gambling). It could even be that the mob is not so happy about that (if they know). So that is ominous. I would like this scenario, A LOT! I was very glad to hear that Brad got nothing out of deliberately destroying David's life!
December 2, 200817 yr Member I hope that Phyllis, in a fit of rage, kills Brad and frames Sharon for the murder. LOL! Edited December 2, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
December 2, 200817 yr Member I hope that Phyllis, in a fit of rage, kills Brad and frames Sharon for the murder. LOL! Hmmm...then we could get rid of 2 useless annoying characters for the price of 1.
December 2, 200817 yr Member Maybe Lauren will boink him to death this time!! That would set up long term fall out.
December 2, 200817 yr Member How is Brad a "legacy character?" Well he did sleep with every rich woman in Genoa City. In the real world that'd make him a legend.
December 2, 200817 yr Member Y&R needs Colleen back again, someday--because (cringe alert, Eric) she is a LEGACY CHARACTER!!!. If Brad does die or go out in a blaze of glory, it COULD provide high drama and new motivation and direction for the Colleen character. If DD does in fact leave the show, you are so right about what you have said here. I will definitely miss him, if indeed he is gone. Edited December 2, 200817 yr by Heyou
December 2, 200817 yr Member Maybe Lauren will boink him to death this time!! That would set up long term fall out. If they did kill DD, and it was from a post-coital heart attack (e.g., after a shag with Sharon), what a terrific nod to silly history that would be! Moreover, it would make awesome drama for Sharon (if he dies in bed, and she's still married to Jack, maybe she'd trie to hide it...like with Cameron). And, if Jack or Colleen find out Sharon boinked Brad to death: "It's war, sweetheart!"
December 2, 200817 yr Member Is it possible that Don quit, rather than being fired? He has quit and returned before. And I don't see MAB firing a vet after the backlash LML got for firing Jerry Douglas and Eileen Davidson (whose characters were much less prominent than Brad). Either way, I am very upset by this. I guess I'll have to emotionally prepare myself for the inevitable news of Tammin Sursok's firing now. He did quit. I just read on Soaps.com that he left over money.
December 2, 200817 yr Member Brad's been USELESS for years, and Latham's constant pimping of that character during her tenure made me hate him forever. That's how I feel about Michelle Stafford/SyPhyllis... Kind of bummed about Brad's ouster. I love me some GoldenBoy if written right; the chemistry with Sharon and not to forget JACK! I hope they don't kill him off; he's been useless in recent years but still a legacy character. Hopefully he'll return soon.
December 2, 200817 yr Member Well he did sleep with every rich woman in Genoa City. In the real world that'd make him a legend. LMAO! So true though...

And I don't see MAB firing a vet after the backlash LML got for firing Jerry Douglas and Eileen Davidson (whose characters were much less prominent than Brad). Brad is definitley less prominant than Ashley or John. Ashley's been a lead for over 25 years, where Brad has always been a supporting character in the destruction of everybody's marriage. And John ... John's that sentimental character, like Days' Alice Horton, that you've grown up with on TV forever and come to think of in a weird sort of way as your tv grandpa.
December 2, 200817 yr Member Wow, didn't know Brad had this many fans... lol I never really liked his character. Don was a good actor, but Brad was never really interesting to me. So I don't care that he's gone. It's gonna set some money free for other things. Like someone said, maybe they're bringing someone else back. Hope he takes Colleen with him.
