We are on the same wavelength! Tina and Cord....I never thought I'd live to see the day Evans and Loprieno played those two in the same scene again! And as for Tess, can I just say I love revenge plots? LOL! Regarding Todd and Mary....HATED it and the thought of it at the beginning, but the actors are making it work!

Well I guess that makes three of us. I really thought putting Todd in this mess would only further the destruction of his character, but I find myself sympathizing with him and I DONT KNOW WHY! And then I think about the moment Marty's memory comes back and she realizes what he has done to her and I hate him all over again. I only hope the show gets back on its feet before then and gives us the pay off we deserve.

Yes, the day Marty's memory returns will be quite a day!

What's hooking me on this story is (and I don't believe I am gonna say this) is Trevor St. John's performance. Is Todd just messing with Marty, or is he beginning to feel something? It's hard to tell and it's that dichotomy that's reeling me in!

John and Blair are very cute, I love Todd and Marty (TSJ ad SH are great in their scenes), KDP has chemistry with EVERYONE, I enjoy the Llanfair group scenes, but I wish they would make Jared a little bit more clever. He was not that naive when he first showed up.

As for Antonio wanting to return to Mendorra, can we please not mention this place again for a while?

As I said before, I feel like I need to take a shower after watching the Todd/Marty scenes, but I'm really enjoying the story. Trevor St. John and Susan Haskell have amazing chemistry, and I don't think they're even playing the scenes as romantic.

*takes shower*

This is a day late, but I just watched yesterday's show, and WOW, was it endless. That has to be the longest episode of OLTL I've ever sat through. An entire episode of Tina acting like a fifteen year old, and endless scenes of Clint and Nora just setting up the Cord/Tina reunion (can someone explain why Cord and Tina are acting like Cole and Starr, and not acting like two grown adults?), and half an episode of Tessica/contractor scenes (?!?!) and Antonio and John saying silly "we're just killing time in this set before we go to Rodi's" dialogue about John going to Mendorra (Isn't this story over yet?!).

And I'm a fan of the Marty/Todd story, but even those stories went nowhere.

What a filler day.

    • She did have a thing with him in the late '90s, before she inexplicably disappeared with no mention as to why, although I can't remember if they had sex.
    • I don't believe she did. She did sleep with Simon, believing he was a Spaulding.
    • -- If I ever get sick, please don't send me to Garland Memorial. That hospital is a YIKES. -- Soooo much activity around the main nurses' desk. Do they move dead people on a gurney past that desk, too? -- 8 months for Bill to recover from a "small stroke"? Uh....I don't think so. Is anyone researching this stuff? The hospital stuff is not coming off as realistic. -- It's good that Derek and Ashley are being integrated into other stories, but it's a real stretch to say Leslie was "stalking" Ashley. It makes Derek seem dumber than we already think he is. -- Ashley spends a lot of time having small talk while she's at work. -- Chelsea is embarrassing. Period. -- Tomas is supposed to pick up the slack for Bill, but he has time to have worthless conversations with Leslie? OK then. -- Kat is destroying the case against Leslie, but that's clearly the way to keep Leslie on the canvas.
    • 6-3   I almost let my system just delete the episode just like with B&B. I am now questioning if I should have. lol.   I just can't believe that Cole sat there and started to get sick and then only Victoria off and ran off and everyone basically went back to what they were doing at Nikki's birthday party. Cole was too much of a vet character for that. And now story back off-screen.   I did chuckle at how much Victor pay Kyle dust. And now Kyle with this deal and a promise to leave town if he hurts Claire. smh. As if Victor isn't going to make that happen.   It was lovely to see Ashley. And actually (misdressed and all) Abby.    And I liked Claire's dress.
    • Oh. That. I pretend that never happened.

I did think of another possibility. Did India ever sleep with Alan? They kind of toyed with pairing them up, but I'm not sure they ever became lovers.
    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
