So today we had a location shot with Sara in a park. Was that the first time TD ventured outdoors?

There was no dialogue so pretty basic and cheap to tape I assume.

I believe that was their first outdoor shoot. Several fans online have said that the location is Central Park, which makes sense because it is very close to 30 Rock.

Far Wind reminds me of a Star Trek villain. From the original series. Who's about to takeover the Enterprise.

Well, Bryant Park is even closer! I wonder if that’s where they shot that scene.

I didn't think Bryant Park had a pond, but I wouldn't recall what it looked like at that time as I was younger than Michael Paul sorry just Paul. The kid is smart enough to want to change his name, let's see if that sticks.

Speaking of Michael - Paul, I've never discovered how he came to have that name? Can someone fill me in. Thanks.

Also on names how was it explained that Lew became known as Luke.?

Toni's father was named Paulo, (Italian loved Opera was an extra at the Met). Luke's birth name was Luke, as that is what his mother called him. Eventually everyone started calling him Luke instead of his previously used nickname Lew - I blame Eleanor.

The website for The Doctors subscription service is up.  So far, it only has the 1967-1970 episodes that already aired on Retro TV.  The price is 2.99 per month, or 30.99 per year.  Guess it will be active starting February 27.

You can start watching episodes now! I guess the Feb. 27th date is for all the interactive stuff. How thrilling to have a soap streaming like this and 2.99 a month is very reasonable!

Is this service region-blocked, i.e. only available in the USA?

And what are the payment options? Can I use Paypal?

If anybody knows, please drop me a line.

TIA.

It's great! This is exactly what all of us have wanted for the soaps for so long. I'm so glad Retro is doing this.

2.99 is indeed very reasonable and with a large selection of episodes and special features/interviews, etc. it makes it very worth it. They also give a yearly option of 30.99.
