Question--did the show ever hint where Madison was located?

Not sure as to whether Madisons exact location was specified.I thought that the Madison location wasnt specified till mid 70s (under Marland?) but now recall that it was mentioned much earlier (in the current reruns)Am I imagining this??

 

BTW,the latest ep (earlier Dec 72) now lists James Lipton as writer along with the Pollocks.

 

Am sure Eric Montreal will want to tune in to see his favorite soap writer

No you aren't dreaming, it was a scene with Mike. He was bouncing a ball, and said how he was from Madison.

It was a scene set in the park around September 1969 after some kind of a fight between Mike Powers and his girlfriend Nancy Bennett. He was bouncing a ball and reciting something like "M, my name is Mike and I'm come from Madison." That's the only reference to the name of the city thus far. 

 

As for the state where Madison is located, it's been suggested that Madison is in upstate New York.

OMG. Can I just say that it is so refreshing to see that the show is finally throwing Hank a bone with this arc of him possibly losing his hopes and dreams as a surgeon. I don't expect the show to go as deep with this story as I wish, but it is nice to know that Hank, a Black character, got a major story in the early 70s. 

 

Does anyone know if Hank got any other major stories during his time on the Doctors? Does the Doctors handle minorities well going forward?

John Pleshette (Richard, Knots Landing) appeared in an episode as a record shop employee. He didnt look much different than he did on Knots as it was only 6 years time difference.

I loved Anna....she had a cool, calm, and confident manner.  She did PR work for the hospital...while being the voice of reason for Carolee.

 

She didn't spark with a lot of the love interests they paired her with.  Though the Pollacks did give her a happy ending.

I believe it was sometime in November 1969.

After months of references to the character, Dr. Ann Larimer (played by Geraldine Court) showed up on yesterday's episodes of The Doctors (from January 1973).
