Looks like him. I put it in the EON thread but Margo McKenna was also in a Palmolive (with Madge).

Based on the clips of the final episodes...does anyone think the show could have repaired itself if given more time?

The newer female characters were more modern and had spark...while the veteran female characters like Betsy..etc...were so insipid...imho

It definitely seemed to be in transition. I wish they hadn't spent so much money on new sets and had instead had better writers.

Does anyone know if there any episodes which have Elizabeth Kemp online somewhere? I cannot remember her character name but her boyfriend was Christopher Reeve's character for a time. She is an acting teacher/friend of mine here in NYC and I would love to see her as a young woman on her first acting job! She was on in the 70s (early? Mid?) so it's doubtful, I know, but thought I'd ask.

If you get to Ryan's Hope summer or fall 1981, she's in several episodes as a soap actress.

She played Betsy Crawford from 1973-1977. The clips posted from the show's last year on the air have the character of Betsy, but she's played by Margo McKenna there.

There is an episode from July 1975 on YouTube that heavily features her in the first half, alongside Christopher Reeve. I think the clearest version of the episode on YT is mislabeled as 1976 (but that might be the correct year - idk).

I think that Harding Lemay, who was ending his time on Another World, could have worked wonders on Love of Life.  It is too bad that this hiring did not happen.

I wonder if he was even approached.
