Members janea4old
I know them only as Garek and Kira on Deep Space Nine. I didn't know they were on Ryan's Hope!
Members applcin
Here are a couple of blasts from the past! Please register in order to view this content Andrew, in particular, was a familiar face in tv and movies before and after RH. The story supposedly is that RH let him go after 2 years because they feared the audience identified him too strongly with his "Dirty Harry" film role. But he appeared in a lot of tv shows in the 70s and 80s. And he also played Liberace in a tv biopic. Nana was pretty young, around 20, and it was one of her earliest tv roles. Members janea4old
Oh! I do remember this face of Frank Ryan, but I didn't pay much attention to actor names back in the 1970s. Garek was such a completely different character! The only Ryan's Hope actor I paid attention to follow as an actor was Kate Mulgrew. I was stoked to see Mary Ryan as Janeway. Members ~bl~
And now I want to request Trek people for soap hoppers, well thanks I think.
Members janea4old
Actors who appear on soaps *and* in Star Trek series/movies should probably be its own thread, LOL. If there isn't already one? I tried the search function but couldn't find one. @slick jones do you know if there is such a thread?
Members slick jones
That's one I haven't seen. Please register in order to view this content I won't say I haven't considered it, or including Star Trek roles under three episodes, but then I remember to sleep .

Members applcin
I'm game. Heck, whenever I watch an old movie or tv show and see a familiar character actor, I'll often say "he was on Star Trek" or "she was on a soap"...sometimes both. Those are my biggest frames of reference, lol. @janea4old I know between DS9 and RH, there was also Casey Biggs (Damar) and James Sloyan (Dr. Mora, Odo's Bajoran "father"). Members janea4old
The simplest way to do this is to go Memory Alpha https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Portal:Main It has every episode of every Trek series including the animated ones, and every Trek movie. The cast are listed at bottom of each episode with links to their IMDBs. You could start with the main cast and frequent recurring cast of each show. (Too many guest cast - but they could be added much later on.)
