October 24, 200718 yr Member It actually looks to me like no one dies from this event, which surprises me! What exactly was the point of this calamity? Anything written and produced by Latham never has a point. In the end, you're supposed to ask youself, "what the [!@#$%^&*] was that?".

October 24, 200718 yr Member Alvin, I don't see you in that photo... That's because I'm taking over Bill Bell's old position as the Senior Executive Producer.
October 24, 200718 yr Member LMAO!! Thursday's US episode just ended....... So at the end....Victoria gets out and is at the top of the rubble......she looks up.....so I'm thinking something is going to fall on her.....but instead we see this small rock hit her in the head/face and she falls down from the rubble. It was hilarious! That by far might be the worst thing I've ever seen on Y&R It even tops Drucilla's death...which I definitely enjoyed but was definitely corny as hell.
October 24, 200718 yr Member What Y&R needs: Those were the days. (In Katherine Chancellor's 'desperate' voice): God...oh, precious God, let them return!
October 25, 200718 yr Member LMAO, Toups! This event has been a rip from beginning to end. At least, when SUNSET BEACH staged that earthquake/tsunami combo, they made good on their threats to kill off people (...even if it was just a couple of dayplayers and someone's maid). Have these individuals' world changed, a la the "survivors" of GL's glorious early-'90's blackout? Highly doubt it. What has happened this week to the people of Genoa City isn't even comical enough to make the year-end blooper reel. Edited October 25, 200718 yr by Khan

October 25, 200718 yr Member Man this is awful...who's idea was having a different group spotighted each day and saved at the end thus taking away any sort of drama regarding what might happen to this character or that character...this is just horrible. So freaking bad. I erased the three weeks prior to this and here I am back for the big event and it's just as dull as ever. LML finally ran me off...guess outside of Hollyoaks on line I'm officially done with the five day a week soap... Worst. Soap. Event. EVER.
October 25, 200718 yr Member This is like a really bad episode of GL's In The Light! Did anyone else chuckle when Victoria screamed "ADRIAN!"?
October 25, 200718 yr Administrator This is like a really bad episode of GL's In The Light! Did anyone else chuckle when Victoria screamed "ADRIAN!"? YES! LOL There's also another unintentionally funny situation with Victoria at the end of the episode. Y&R is such a comedy now. It's so sad to see the once crown jewel of daytime like this.
October 25, 200718 yr Member It's so sad to see the once crown jewel of daytime like this. I don't see anyone crying! Edited October 25, 200718 yr by Sylph
October 25, 200718 yr Member Victoria getting hit on the head by a rock and flipping over what was like 5 times was so over dramatic and funny all at the same time.
October 25, 200718 yr Member Then you're not looking around. I'm a huge of this show, but these days no one is shedding tears, and how can you? The show is a farce and you just have to laugh; and you can see it in this thread, all LOLs and stuff like that... With the bricks falling and that sort of stuff... And the above was a joke. That's why is standing over there... Edited October 25, 200718 yr by Sylph
