The best part of this match is Shapo yelling at the umpire for no reason at all.

You let him challenge after I hit the ball 30 minutes ago?😂

Well I guess this wasn't so bad for a 3 set sweep in a final.  (cough, kidding but probably not).

Shapo missed a big opportunity in the first set. He could’ve had set point, but missed on a open court.   Then in the second set when it was 5-5, he missed on an easy volley.   One of the things I wish for Shapo is that he needs to learn to not get down on himself too much, or yell negatively too much.  Hopefully as he gets older he’ll be able to control this better.  Oh well, it’s awesome he got this far.  Proud of the two Canadian boys this tournament.

I miss the opening and closing on NBC.

Does NBC own the rights to that theme music? Or did it revert to the composer? Today, I thought I saw a tweet asking that ESPN try to get the theme song. Probably unlikely that they would be able to, but when I heard that theme song, it made the tournament feel like an event, a special one. Now, it just feels workaday.

No clue who has the rights but the theme music made the tournament for me without it lost its luster. I doubt ESPN even tired to get the rights for it.

The Pliskobot is malfunctioning. Barely could win points, but Barty threw in a completely sh!t game to keep things mildly interesting.

YES!!  :D

Congratulations to Ashleigh Barty! First Australian woman to win Wimbledon since Evonne Goolagong 1980!
