Members Faulkner
For all of Kyrgios’s talent, he makes some dumb shot selections.
Members Soapsuds
He has a great serve, an ok forehand....not thrilled with it and an awful backhand. I hate all his drop shots and charging the net a la Roger....I also hate it when Roger does it for the hell of it. It is so annoying and cheapens their game. It looks like a Sasha and Borna QF on Thursday.
Members Faulkner
Chung’s thighs, wow.
Members Faulkner
Sheesh. No bueno. Chung is gonna have to do a complete reset after that terrible first set against Isner. I haven’t seen him play that badly (uninjured) in a while.
Members Soapsuds
The tennis ratings are so flawed. If John Isner wins this match he will be back in the top 10. How is that possible when he is having a horrible year. He has won like 6 matches all year. Where are his points from? At least we know he won't be a threat again until the summer during the mini grass court hall of fame crap tourney and the first 250 lower seeded tourneys.
Members Faulkner
Chung is giving this match away. But Isner’s rise says more about the vacuum that exists at the top of the ATP than it does about his play.
Members Soapsuds
This is the worse I've seen Chung play. I don't know why he is over hitting and not being patient. We know John can't last a 6 shot rally. And after the top 7....the rest of the players haven't done much to distant themselves from the rest thus the closeness in rankings. I hate how ESPN is all giddy about John.....blah.......
Members Soapsuds
Looking at Trumpster's win/loss from 2017 and he didn't do much either....38-22 record.....no real big tournament wins....I don't get why he hasn't lost more points. He is still at 2000 mark....weird. He has lost so early in so many rounds.....
Members Faulkner
He has semifinal points from Rome, Cincinnati, and Paris from last year he has yet to defend, but I dunno.
Members Soapsuds
Did you hear Brad Gilbert go on and on again about how great John should be on clay? Please register in order to view this content He has never been good at it. It is too slow and taxing for him. The reason he did so well in Rome last year is because he had an easy draw and it was rather warm. Members Faulkner
Yeah, he’s only made it past the third round at one of the clay Masters twice. But who knows in this current field? You have folks like Krajinovic making deep runs in tournaments.
Members Soapsuds
John is getting roasted on FB....LOL. They are saying he still sucks and Chung just didn't play well at all.
Members Faulkner
If Danielle Collins has a major breakthrough here, the American tennis media will push her HARD. Much more than they ever pushed Madison or Sloane... Please register in order to view this content I’m gonna need Venus to handle business and put the upstart in her place. Venus is letting this girl get away with powderpuff second serves. Edited March 28, 2018 by Faulkner
Members Soapsuds
Shocked by the result so far. Who is this Collins person? I think Venus took her lightly.
